Drugs over the counter and illegal.

Its not an opinion, its not some guy in a garage, it was done under standard testing conditions

Hey, Alumacase ... while you're over here posting in your competitor's topic ... when are you going to submit your "no reception issues" case to Larry Greenberg/GearDiary for the same testing/review that Element Case did???I have no clue why Elementcase would release a Nickel polished case, I talked to the anodizer and they told me that would be one of the worst finishes as it does tarnish and scratch very easily. I am 100% positive that the manufacture told them the same!
One might think highly similar designs (copies?) made out of the same material would have the same effect on signal, but you've said that's not the case (excuse pun) ..... right?
So the proof is in submitting for independent review.

It's ok. I don't remember you saying anything out of line. This is a forum and people should be allowed to express themselves. We all find it annoying when someone pops in to a thread just to insult the members and attempt to stir up crap. I agreed with you comments. If those guys had come on this thread to share their experiences and ask questions than nobody would have gotten ticked off.
The Vapor 4 is a very cool case. I'm sure you will like it. I'm looking now at Alumacase and Fusionwerkz. They are both looking like great options.
Look at Exovault too, I have been kicking around whether or not to get one. Leaning heavily towards getting it, lately.

IF you own the case and don't have reception issues, great for you, your an exception

I think you have made your point quite clearly. Please can you now leave this thread alone. Do not presume to know peoples reasons for buying anything. And please refrain from useing inflammatory language such as 'stupid', it really does not help this discussion. There are enough Msc's and PHD's here I'm sure. If they wish to buy something then it is up to them. Your 'warning' has been made. Please can we just leave the name calling out of it, I'm sure others have their views on you. I ordered my Vapor on the Sept 4, I was in group 5 with my emailed code. I got the notification that they purchased a box to send me the case I paid for on Sept 10. So who in group 5 has received their case yet? I am really excited to get mine. I knew before I hit order that it was gonna be a waiting game. But i want it now. Im sure everyone that ordered when I did want theirs too, but how many have actually received theirs.
Honestly...I drive a BMW, carry Chanel purses, and wear $200+ jeans. $80 for a case that may or may not work that I can sell on Ebay for MORE if I don't like it? Well, since I can sell it for more than I paid I'd call that an investment.

I heard they were only available for about an hour. That was the hour I maybe should have ordered the Stealth Black one - but I chickened out. I was in the lucky group 5 that received the email with the "Extreme Metals" option.
I was emailing Element on the weekend and they have some new stuff coming down the pipeline. Try doing the pre-register again and it might work in your favor. They seem to have cooler options as the weeks crawl by.

I've read through this whole thread, looking for some possible way to correct my reception problems with my new vapor case. I understand that some people have problems and some don't but i'm definitely having problems. I live in Mamaroneck, NY but work in NYC and I usually lose two bars consistently when i have the case on. I've tested it with my wife's phone as well and same result. Not realizing it was the case before, I went out an bought a microcell, but it's not helping matters. In fact, it's making it worse b/c the phone constantly switches back and forth.
Yes, I'm annoyed at Element, but I do appreciate excellent aesthetic design, so I'm still not giving up yet. I've looked at all the other aluminum case manufacturers others have recommended on this thread and I still like Element's design the best. Aside from all the separating metal from metal mods that people have tried (and I've tried as well), has anyone tried drilling holes into the left side of the case? I really want to keep the case, but I can't accept the trade off in signal loss. I might be the guinea pig if no one else has tried this.

Please don't drill holes in your case. You case isn't working well due to the strength of your Mobile Service Provider. Unless you have the option to switch like I did then the case won't work for you. If you have lined it up properly so it fits without toughing the sides and have a lucky labs or other form of skin protector going around your antenna you have done what can be done. It is far better to sell it to someone who can use it and maybe buy the Fusion Werkz Raw that has exposed sides and should solve the problem you are having.
Just my option. Hate to see ya throw away money and have a mangled piece of aluminum wrapping you phone that once resembled the Vapor.
