Element Vapor Case

Some have sold for up to $300 and more. I wouldn't pay that at all.

I think the high prices are about to end as more and more people start ordering extras and selling on eBay. Also, as soon as the Chinese imitations hit the market, prices will plummet.

Anyone holding on to a large number of these needs to unload them.

I probably have no idea what I am talking about...:)
 
Personal preference my friend. I have them both in front of me and they are both great looking. Do you like red or blue better? Its kind of your own opinion. I like blonds, some like brunettes.

Actually I sold 2 in the last 24 hours. Perhaps it was the color but they both brought under $150.

The only one that seems to be holding value is the Nickel and the 007. Even the AR-15 can be had for the mid $100 range.

I've got 2 more coming to flip and then I'm out of the game. Times coming where one won't be able to come out ahead or maybe not even break even.

They have been like this from the beginning. Element is more concerned with getting your money than they are actually providing a good customer experience. At least Alumacase and Fusion didn't charge me for my products until they shipped. Hopefully my Fusion Raw that's coming Saturday or possibly Monday will be the aluminum case for me. If that design still hurts reception significantly, I imagine there's no hope for an aluminum case that won't.

I paid on Oct. 14, received a "ready to ship" notice Oct. 19 and a "shipped notice" Oct. 20.

I have 8 cases that have not even been filled yet. They said that they can not make the nickel fast enough!! Then why sell them if they are not ready? Like I said, once I am get these, I am done with element.

You can change the settings on the galleries so they are not public.
 
Here are some pics of the Nickel after a few days use. The tarnish (or, as I prefer, patina) is growing on me. I think it's gives the case a kind of industrial air. As you can see, areas that are handled are most affected.

Element should really show some pics of what the case looks like in real world use.

I have not yet tried to polish it clean.

The alibaba link has two type, 1 is PVC material and another 1 is Alloy
 
For the kind of money you pay for that case, having that much tarnish or whatever you want to call it already is not good at all. That being said, if I just saw those pics and didn't know what the original looked like, I'd say it actually looks kinda cool

I think the demand is running out. I just noticed that too. I would not advise anyone to buy extra's to sell on ebay. They are not doing any good anymore. Element has flooded the market with them and the demand finally caught up.

As I said, I like it. At first, the tarnish just showed up in a few spots, and I was alarmed. After it evened out a bit, the case has an appealing "tool" character. I also like that the case looks different everyday. Eventually, I can polish it and the process starts over.

Not for everyone, but as long as the buyers know what's going to happen, I would not assume that everyone will hate it.
