Thanks for the pics.... i ordered it yesterday because of your pics!! i love the shiny bright side but also the used and wasted look .... the case looks really awesome with the stain(s) - have you polished it yet?

I don't believe it. I finally got my pre-order code just a few days shy of a three month wait! :eek:

Now should I get silver/silver or pink/black? I'm kinda over the yellow, and on the back of the package it says there's also a lime, but that's never materialized afaik.

With that wait you had both silver/silver & pink/black needs to be yours, go for it ;).

My wife has the pink and black and it looks awesome. She normally does not go for girly pink stuff, but the pink is real electric looking and the overall look is real sharp.

No, not yet. I want to see how dark it gets. It seems to get darker each day.

new here! Thanks for all the good info, iv'e been eying the Elements for some time and decided to pull the the trigger. For me its really form over function as these cases are so damn sexy I don't care if I lose a bar or two:rolleyes:. Although I did get the luckylabs spectra covers(thanks guys for the links!) and Ill report back and see if(any) it helped. Ordered a 007 and AR, maybe I'm gonna try mixing them?:confused:

Both--I think the silver/pink idea is way tempting. :D

I want to cancel the order but they don´t answer any mail so I had to open a paypal dispute.I have sent over 10 emails and no answer.I sent an email to paypal to elevate the dispute to a claim immediately.
 
I found some comments:
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Had one of the “pre-orders” from them in early July (3rd?) and was even on the ‘pre-register to pre-order’ list and still no case. Finally filed a paypal complaint a couple days ago after repeated unanswered emails to element. Almost immediately after filing the complaint, the status of my order went to ‘shipped’. However, 2 days later the package still hasn’t even been scanned into the USPS system so obviously all they did was print out a shipping label to try and get the complaint dropped. They did however finally refund me my order after I told them I would refuse shipment of the package if and when it ever did show up.

I have to say I could not agree more with AH the post above.
I too placed my pre order the day the company’s site went up.
their customer service is HORRIBLE. its been over 2 months now and I have yet to receive my product. I am in the process of contacting paypal now to refute my order with them.
Just because you make a good product ( I’ll assume their case is nice but dont know for sure) Doesnt mean you can have ****** customer service!
AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I preordered my Vapor case 7/03/10 thru paypal. I recieved a confirmation from paypal on the same day. Then I started reading stories about a design flaw that was going to delay my shipment by several weeks. I heard nothing from Element about my order so I would check for updates on their website. On or about August 14 they posted a note saying that they were all caught up and would start shipping out orders. On Sept 1 I tried calling customer service for an update on my order and got a full answering machine. so I sent them an email. When a reply was not received I sent a second one a few days later. Still no answer from them. Then on Labor Day I received an email from them stating they did not have an order in my name. I sent them a reply with a copy of my paypal reciept and have not heard from them. I sent a second email with the same info and still no reply. Today I contacted paypal and they have started an investigation into my case. I have also read some blogs where it seems that I am not the only one experiencing this miss treatment from this shoddy company. One blog I read also stated that some people who ordered just two weeks ago have already received their product. In short all I can say is STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. BUYER BEWARE
 
chemasevi, to be fair, I think those problems date from the past when they used to have you pay first, then get on the wait list. Now, they send you a notice when it is your turn to order and only then do you pay.

They are still not the most responsive company, but the nightmare scenarios you republished don't reflect current procedures.

I disagree with you.

My assorted cases arrived with missing screws. I sent many messages to element and received no reply. I opened up a dispute with pay pal and guess what....they shipped out screws with a tracking number. I guess the fact that pay pal withdrew $763 from their account while dispute was pending was enoug to get their attention.

Nice cases but terrible service and support after the sale.
 
OK--I polished the Nickel satin using the polish and cloth they provided. The good news is that the tarnish came off. The bad news is so did the VAPOR Ni label. Not entirely, but it's about half gone, I'd say.
