And if grammar was any kind of measure of credibility, the entire Internet would be shot to hell.

S******. Chortle. The keyboard eliminates a basic hand writing capability. The Internet eliminates grammar. And SMS eliminates spelling. Oh well, roll on an official pictogram language (a la Greg Bear I think it was).

<EDIT>
Overly clever editing software
 I wanted to use the word formed by concatenating "snigg" and "er", but it seems this gets edited. When ecommerce first hit the UK, the residents of the town of "Scun" + "thorpe" had no end of trouble registering their perfectly valid address. There's nothing as smart as something really dumb... Or is it the other way around???

Being great at being stupid doesn't count.

I agree that publicity can be one's worst enemy, once anyone become famous. There are two ways to get around such a situation. Aaron displayed one of them, by simple and calm defense. The second is ignoring. From what I have seen, here, and elsewhere, the public may not be stupid, but they do quite well in trying to twist the arms of someone famous for more information.

>(jello) harvard and yale both suck.

I agree. Self-righteous morons think they can get perfect grades at a high level college to impress others.

Whoah whoah...watch out for those ivy league comments buddy...

Even though I am here illegitimately....

I guess this will make me a latecomer to the post.

I don't know what the deal is, myself. i mean, i've watched the ellen feiss ad, exchanged a few jokes about it with my friends, and read a few of those articles about her fame and the funny fan sites.

sure, i guess that's a pretty pathetic thing to dote and obsess over, in my opinion. but i haven't gone to these sites, which no one has forced me or anyone else to go to, and then said i am "fscking" sick of them. to me, that seems a bit like eating chocolate cake till you barf and then complaining about how there's too much chocolate cake in the world.

i think we all need to visit maddox.xmission.com. mindless criticism definitely has it's place. people dedicate their sites to all sorts of things, and you've no place calling them mindeless jerk-offs and assuming they live and breath whatever the heck they have sites about. some people spend their free time building kites, or collecting altoids boxes. is that any better than spending yorur free time online? if you answered that question, then who made you god?

whatever though. we're all entitled to our opinions of course. but you forgot one thing. in america, not to mention all the other free nations, we're allowed to voice our opinions at will; the less obvious catch there is that you are also RESPONSIBLE for your opinions. just a thought.

not to suggest i'm attacking anyone, but that's my 2 cents. later, guys

If you aren't self-righteous and a moron, don't worry about it. It's just some people never learn...

Very true. You may not even be forced to read certain opinions. You have the right not to read them. The most obvious example would be people refusing to read opinions supporting the PC on MacRumors.

Just because I am smarter than everyone else so I got in the best university in the land, combined with my adonis-like physical features and that most people worship me as a god creating websites about me and puting me on t-shirts and mugs....that doesnt mean I am self-rightious, right?

It just means I know myself well enough to agree with all of the above. ;)
