I also never had my identity attacked by the system in a meaningful way. Just trying to show you some cases where it would be normal to be emotional. Don’t know why you thought I was being emotional when stating some examples.

I don’t need a cup of tea, thanks for the suggestion anyway.

By the way telling people to “calm down” is not a meaningful retort to their arguments. Still awaiting your reponse to such cases, which happen daily on Twitter by the way…It’s not a “worst case scenario” if it happens daily is it?
My response is: Twitter isn't real life, so log off.

Being called a slur does not always constitute a crime, but if it does, consult legal counsel or file a police report.

Being told something that was well documented is a lie when there's plenty of evidence to the contrary? Dismiss the claim.

Being called less than human? Again, mean words aren't a crime, unless they're inciting violence against you. In which case, contact law enforcement.

Your examples are all emotionally charged, and can be shot down calmly and rationally.

My point was that it was never meant as an insult. It just was a neutral word for people with dark skin. Today it is seen as an insult, even if it still is not meant to be one. What is very racist is the idea that black people can use that word, but white people can't. If it really is an insult, why do some black people even use it for their friends?
It became an insult when slave traders began using it exclusively to refer to black people and it became associated with meaning an owned black person or a person that's seen as LESS than you because they are black. The English language has been evolving for centuries. MANY words have changed context and meaning. Any original meaning was lost as soon as it started to be commonly used and accepted as a derogatory insult.

Black people decided to try to take ownership of the word to remove its hateful meaning. Predominantly white people used it as a derogatory term for blacks and their response was to turn it into a word only blacks used as a community term. Essentially fully flipping the usage of it. Has it worked very well? Depends on who you ask, but it was an attempt made to move past the hateful meaning the word had turned into and in how it was used.

It is all comes down to the education of the individual.

The real evil guy is not going to use the n-word instead he will tell you with a polite smile: "Go and punch your white teacher(you know for the years of oppression)." The evil subliminal message here: "Don't get education, join a gang, I want you to be easily controlled and manipulated by me(including whom you should vote for etc.)".
Please show me this imaginary person or if such person exists, compare their numbers to the people who use racial and/or hateful slurs.

Especially show me these masses of people against education due to its being racist

That’s my point, people will log off, and more importantly advertisers will too.

They will go to spaces where such speech and harassment is not allowed, and Twitter will be the same as 4chan/parler/truthsocial etc.

The only way social media is financially sustainable is if it’s heavily moderated.

Existence of people like you is why I usually don’t frequent here for example. I am far more active in other communities that are heavily moderated.

Attention now turns to Twitter's future direction, and how Musk's plans will affect the social media platform with more than 230 million users. "The reason I acquired Twitter is because it is important to the future of civilization to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner, without resorting to violence," he said in a statement posted to his Twitter account on Thursday.
Why does this remind me of AOL, and the assumption that all those users will stick around?

The most common solution to most of today's problems is "....then why don't you get off Twitter?"

It's really kinda simple. But apparently not using Twitter isn't an option for social media sheep.

Hopefully he can turn Twitter around and make it profitable, or just shut it down. It stalled financially compared to other tech platforms with previous leadership.

I fully applaud the removal of these executives and this new path for Twitter.

What seems to be not discussed is that between Twitter and Starlink, Elon now controls the third biggest, non-state owned, telecommunications empire in the world.

Nobody have seen an imaginary god either. Do you want me to show you a masses of people who are following an organized religions? The "big numbers" don't run the world an "imaginary people" on the other hand seem to do it with great ease.

Don't give away any of your power especially to somebody online. And remember, people who don't use the n-word and "honour holocaust" are not exactly your friends either. Continually increasing your personal level of education is the only thing that counts.

At the moment I am on a news diet and need it less, but for the news I still consume, Twitter still is my main source of information.

If something important is happening in the world, you usually see it on Twitter much earlier than on any news channel. A terrorist attack for example. Within minutes eye witness videos go viral on Twitter and what mainstream media then often does is just showing those videos from Twitter.

Twitter also is very much fun during a live event like a sports event or any other show. Often the Twitter feed about the event is much more entertaining than the actual event. For example we have a TV show about real crime, where they show a short film (with actors) about how the crime happened and then the police asks viewers if they know more. The show often is boring, but the Twitter feed is hilarious. You could also try it during the Oscar's for example.

If another website is offline, people check Twitter to see if the site is real gone or if it is just a problem with their own account.

It's so fitting that people are celebrating Twitter becoming a home to conservative hate speech on the same day that Pelosi's husband was almost killed.

He was beaten with a hammer. I don't think it's a huge leap in logic to say that a slight change in a swing's direction or force could've easily killed him.
Do you remember when people were cheering on Twitter when Rand Paul was almost killed by his neighbor after suffering broken ribs, a collapsed lung and catching pneumonia from his injuries?

All the immediate news stories I've seen about Pelosi is that he will make a full recovery.

And why do conservatives celebrate people cheering violence? Why should "speech" like that be allowed on Twitter?

I have no idea what you’re talking about. If you were claiming god exists, I’d also ask for scientific proof but this is not the topic at hand. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

You've got to be joking . . .
Communities where attacking people due to their innate qualities whether it be their race or their gender identity is tolerated are not the kind of communities most people want. Also not the kind of communities advertisers want to spend money on.
