Do we live for prosperity (as in wealth) or should be we living for happiness, joy, and ease?

Wealth does not necessarily bring happiness, joy, or ease.

Also, in capitalism, it's not a equal system where all gets wealth. It's absolutely unequal and sets up society to be so.

So you literally have no empathy besides your immediate circle. You’re saying “I don’t care if he’s a white supremacist, me or people I know aren’t affected”. I hope you really think about this and decide if that’s really the kind of person you want to be. The Germans have a saying, if you see a table where a Nazi is sitting with 4 other people, you have a table with 5 Nazis.

Also it’s very ironic you’re talking about exponential filters. The history of the world shows us that fascism always makes smaller and smaller in-groups as it destroys itself from within. For a white supremacist first it will be whites accepted only, then gay whites would be the undesirables and eliminated, then white immigrants (legal or otherwise).

Also don’t know why you care so much about rich people where their care towards you is the same as the royals care towards commoners in Game of Thrones.

The great thing is you can now block those people making horrible comments. That is the way the world should work while having free speech. Someone should be able to say ANY stupid thing they want and if you dont like it, shun them, ignore them, and block them if the platform allows it. When they have NO ONE listening, their horrible ideas die on the vine.

Otherwise when someone or a group of someones gets power to silence people, it opens the process up for abuse.

Damn. I’m all for not censoring people but that guy is disgusting. Anyway, the good thing about social media is that you can just block him, no need to ban him. Social media must be the same as real life, it it’s not unlawful then you shouldn’t be able to ban them. If it is unlawful then ban him all the way and report him to the authorities.

Never understood, or used my twitter account. Seemed like too much posting every thought, and daily action including when one was in bathroom and more, a waste of my time so I never used and still do not plan on using.

There's no reason a social media site must coddle hateful people, violent people, pedophiles, etc.

I also got banned from Facebook when I wrote something like "I do not like modern women. They only focus on their career. So I swipe left if a woman has a job. Those women should better marry their boss. That helps boosting their career". That post may be controversial and women might not like it, but on woke platforms like Facebook it is enough to get banned for a while. I hope Twitter will be different now.

I agree with you.
I am very happy my wife went back to an hourly employee. When management, it was constant, at dinner, on vacation, the ole can you drive so I can answer an email or two.
Conversation whenever we went out was like a business meeting.
Now, with the regular people, things are fun.
Today I will be looking at an electric cars, as I walk by them to get to the diesel trucks.

So if someone you didn't know took offence to you for the most trivial of reasons, and came up to you in the street and said they hoped you were eaten by sharks, you'd given them a hug and thank them for standing up agains't strange community guidelines like respecting others opinions and having the capacity to disagree and behave like a grown up doing it.
