Musk is turning-out to be a moron. The uber twit. The guy "buys Twitter", re-starts Kanye's account (current poster boy for anti-semitism), and tweets really bad sleazy misinformation that Pelosi's husband was attacked by some kind of encounter with a male prostitute gone wrong.

Elon Twit should get a taste of his own medicine. People should start tweeting all kinds of false misinformation about Elon. There could be misinformation Elon is also big on anti-semitism...because he is friends with Kanye...andt here was that lawsuit about racism at one of his Tesla factories...Yes, it really is that easy to produce BS
Kanye is psychologically disturbed so I am not too hard on him. But why is anti-semitism a view that shouldn't be heard? Its stupid and silly but airing the view will make it more obviously false not less so.

Misinformation is combatted with more correct information. Bad ideas are combatted with good ideas. Not censorship. This was a lesson we learned as a species around 1770s but somehow the digital age made us lose our minds. Censors of information are almost always the bad guys. Adults can handle it and figure it out.

I deleted my Facebook and Instagram accounts at the end of 2019.

I deleted my LinkedIn account a few weeks ago.

I deleted my Twitter account as soon as the rumors of Musk buying it started back in March.

I’ve never used TikTok and see no use for Vine, but I’m clearly not the target audience.

What’s concerning here, if the rumor is true, is the Musk has no clue how true Agile software development works. But why would he? Agile wasn’t around when he owned PayPal, SpaceX has no mass market software timelines they need to hit, and Tesla’s software is basically always in beta. It’ll be fun to watch him destroy this platform and lose $44 billion!
Imagine using twit in the first place. Laughing my ass off.

Why should people do that? That's just wasting everyone's short time on this planet and being petty.

...why? LinkedIn is really useful as a resume creation tool, especially if you get Apple IT Certification you get a nice Apple logo on your profile.
Eh, there are many other websites and templates that are much more effective for resume creation.

My issues with LinkedIn are:
1. It's full of fake accounts and people just like Twitter
2. I was tired of being spammed with connection requests and messages from those fake accounts and recruiters multiple times a week
3. It's more a brag board than anything else
4. The app and website are a nightmare to navigate and use
5. I do a lot of hiring in the tech industry and in the last 10 years I've never hired a single person whose been brought to me from a find or job application through LinkedIn. It's too easy to inflate yourself on the platform, but then bomb in an interview. Never trust any of the recommendations people make on profiles.

They haven't dominated the market completely. Youtube Shorts rose to the ranks, to the point that the Shorts are now monetizable.
I despise youtube shorts. with the right plugins they are completely gone from my view. I hate vertical video, i guess because i dont spend half my day consuming video on my phone.

All those you can just block or ignore. Again, everyone around me we just use Linkedin as a resume making tool since our profiles catalog everything and the site has a built in resume builder. It's a lot easier and faster than just typing a new updated resume from scratch in Microsoft Word, especially when the Linkedin resume can apply verified certifications.

I heavily dislike vertical videos as well and should only be restricted to pictures because it's not constantly moving. I also wish that companies like Apple would make the videos horizontal when people hold their phones vertically.

It’s a necessary evil quite frankly. I’m not pleased with the amount of spam I get on there either. But not having a LinkedIn is potential career suicide for a number of high profile positions.

This is shaping up to be perhaps the biggest facepalm in modern history.

Just imagine what else he could have done with 44 BILLION DOLLARS.
Probably buy out weapons manufacturers and nerf their manufacturing capabilities to reduce wars or something.

That’s going to cost what $40.00 subscription fee. Knowing Elon, pretty sure it’s not going to be free.
But it will be really good for the environment...provided you live in a sunny area and drive your Vine 35,000 miles (the break even point, environmentally speaking).

Of if you live in a cloudy area, then it will be 53,000 miles.

Wait a minute...am I mixing my metaphors again?

This is excellent news.

Need to get all US users away from that Chinese spy program.
Honestly, this might be his play here...and he could probably get some political support behind this initiative.

If he didn't need China to help his auto business...I'd say it was a brilliant move. But alas, it could bite the other hand that feeds him.

We are all starting at 'Peak Globalization' in the rear view mirror.

Elon moves fast. He has been developing a plan and that is why the deal went through. No longer beholden to public shareholders, he is going to reignite the platform.
I thought the reason he ended up purchasing Twitter was that he didn’t want to face the lawsuit. Had he not bought it it? He may have to pay back billions or possibly double the amount that was originally offered. So he didn’t have a choice left and ended up buying it to avoid a lawsuit or possibly jail time.

Maybe that's why he fired the top high-level exec's right away because he was mad. They cashed out!
