It makes for good comedy. LOLWhere do people even come up with this stuff? Total fantasy land type behavior.

I had a math teacher in high school who would always have an extra credit question on every test. The answer would ALWAYS be 69. But you wouldn’t get any credit unless you showed your proof. LOLIt was actually 69.420%. MacRumors rounded to the nearest half-percent but Elon had the engineers stay up all night Sunday to make every poll result be 69.420%. Who needs a family when you have daddy Elon?? He’s so edgy.
Despite what, apparently more people than I thought, appear to believe the US and China do A LOT of business together. It’s not the same kind of relationship as the one we’ve had with Russia over the decades. You seem lost. You do realize that Mac Rumors is an American site and that you're a guest here, right?
This is exactly what happened.I thought the reason he ended up purchasing Twitter was that he didn’t want to face the lawsuit. Had he not bought it it? He may have to pay back billions or possibly double the amount that was originally offered. So he didn’t have a choice left and ended up buying it to avoid a lawsuit or possibly jail time.
Maybe that's why he fired the top high-level exec's right away because he was mad. They cashed out!
Indeed. His polling is the equivalent of asking myself if I should get up any given morning. LOLThis is not how you do interest polling. Ask people if they want something (without mentioning the downsides), they always say yes.
A proper poll might better read:
A) bring back vine
B) invest time & money elsewhere
And Musk knows this. He isn't asking for opinions - he's already made up his mind.
You bet your ass Elon would only ever offer any kind of legitimate privacy at a price, a service with a subscription fee.Oohhh yeah cause American companies are always beholden to US laws. LOL
You should hope and pray for an EU company to offer some real competition. Then you can be sure your data privacy will be handled with some regulatory concern. The US is atrocious for handling consumer rights compared to a number of other countries (many of them in the EU now).
Why would anyone waste their time on TikTok, Youtube Shorts, or god forbid, 6 second Vine videos. Everyone has better things to do than watch fake clickity click videos from 16 year olds.Nobody watches YouTube shorts. I downloaded tik tok for the first time last week and it's awesome and very addictive.
What are you suggesting? That he actually never delivers on his promises??? What?😮Maybe he should start with making Autopilot actually work.
It's what everyone does. Billions of views and millions of dollars generated every day.Why would anyone waste their time on TikTok, Youtube Shorts, or god forbid, 6 second Vine videos. Everyone has better things to do than watch fake clickity click videos from 16 year olds.
Lolol. I know, it’s crazy how people get addicted to these things…. Hmmmm Macrumors forums don’t count do they? It's what everyone does. Billions of views and millions of dollars generated every day.
And you don't want to be an outsider, do you?
Stop thinking, start consuming!
I’d agree with that, except for the 2009 Iran uprising/revolution which opened real live reporting to the world after communications had been cut by the government. Twitter saved probably thousands of lives.Personally I hope EM drives Twitter into the ground and destroys it. The world will be a better place without all the petty hate and using it to destroy the lives of others. Get off it, not because EM bought it but because it's a plague on society and always has been. It makes your mind sick. I think that's pretty obvious.
There's no algorithm or marketing team pushing us around, so I don't see how the two would compare.Lolol. I know, it’s crazy how people get addicted to these things…. Hmmmm Macrumors forums don’t count do they?
I do remember it, but I believe the answer is no, which is why it failed.I never experienced vine; was the "community" as cancerous as tiktok's?
I like the idea of a short-videos app, but TikTok is a privacy black hole and I absolutely hate everything the company stands for.
But American companies are also subject to laws abroad.I’d rather an American company be using the data and be subject to American laws.
Vine sounds like a good addition to the platforms and a useful competitor to TikTok. I’d like kids to not get sucked into TikTok, there’s room for something besides ByteDance’s effort.
Didn't some company attempt this? I may have dreamt it but I remember it happening and flopping.it would be like bringing back myspace when there’s facebook
Look at this another person who suddenly likes social media.
Elon fans !! Make up your mind!!
You either hate social media or you don’t lol
