I mean, it's not like Elon is ever one to spend 30 seconds researching stuff after he hears a catchy sound-bite. Who knows, if he didn't get kicked from the board of OpenAI for poaching researches to work at Tesla, maybe he'd still have a big stake there instead of burning money and Twitter/X.

Guess what a******, Apple doesn't need your companies. Or you. He's going to have to ban Android phones and Microsoft PCs at some point as well, so let's see how your companies like using mobile devices (and one would assume, desktop devices) that don't run iOS or Android, or macOS, or Windows, or ChromeOS.

Hmmm...

Apple privacy blunders such as deleted photos that weren't really deleted and CSAM come to mind.

Who will claim to be smart enough to control these AI entities once they achieve singularity?

I think the time will soon come when you will be able to choose your external AI connections. OpenAI (chatGPT) now, but eventually Google, Musk’s AI, niche ones for science or travel etc etc.

This is especially a wake up call to Google who already pays Apple a hefty sum for default internet searches.
