FYI, Musk is not the CEO of X. Linda Yaccarino is the CEO of X. By stating that Musk is CEO you minimize Linda's leadership and contributions to the company.

This. Name another billionaire who could spend 44 billion on something only for it to be worth 15 billion less than a year later? Must have read "Art of the deal."
Musk cares about and fights for creators just as much as Apple does for the environment and for the same reasons -To better their image which will lead to increased income.
Twitter creators are a tool to get people to actually use Twitter over other platforms. For many, Musk paying them is the only way they’ll not flee to other platforms.
Nothing wrong in that, that’s how the World is run.
But don’t give me some spiel about Musk doing this for charity or because of his emotional connection to creators and their content.
Musk is positioning it this way to make Apple look like the bad guy who wants to tax the little man, the creators.
This is Musks issue as his payouts to creators will be 30% less attractive to creators on top of the 10% he’s already taking from them
Musk would either have to increase creator earnings to compensate for the 30% Apple is taking.
Or he convinces Apple to take what amounts to a total fee of 3% of the total instead of the regular 30%?
Why should Apple take this hit, does it need Twitter to thrive? Does Apple earn a lot by having Twitter in the AppStore?

Lol screwed up Twitter. X is working great for me at the moment and many twitter accounts are getting paid tens of thousands of dollars just for tweeting memes.

Never said such thing. Elon wants creators to make more money which in turn makes X more money which in turn increases Elon's networth. How is this a bad thing?

If Elon is so worried about it, why not donate the $8 fee he charges to the users? He wants somebody else to take the hit but no financial input from him?
I don't give a flying F about freedom speech. If he wants unban racist accounts, that's all him. I neither support nor am against the idea as I don't really care as long as I can block those accounts. It's not a difficult problem to solve.
