I don't care what we do, but it seems as if we are just going in circles trying to make a decision so I'm gonna just make one.

Round 4
- Turn 1: Enter the next room by going though the door on the right. (Room A by DP's map)
- Turn 2: The party would like to go up the stairs in room A.
- Turn 3: Enter through the door in the left hand wall and into the hallway.
- Turn 4: Enter the door on the right side of the hallway that runs North/South.

Tsk. Tsk. Manners, manners, gentlemen and ladies, please show some common courtesy.......kindly remember that you are guests in our abode,....granted, guests of the uninvited, unwelcome but not quite unexpected variety......but, guests nevertheless, and the strained rules of reluctant hospitality demand that certain standards of behaviour are adhered to.......when the occasion calls for it.

"South?" called the drug dealer.

"How do you know which way is south?" asked the doctor.

"I have a good sense of direction," shot back the drug dealer.

"It's locked," the CIA agent called out from the end of the hallway.

"Locked? **** that, I'm knockin' it down," mscriv said striding down the hallway towards the door.

"Ow! ****!"

Okay, that didn't work.

"Ain't as easy to knock down as the doors downstairs," said mscriv, his voice strained from the aching right foot.

"This door, then," the sneaking lady said, opening the door.

The goon inside was so shocked he fell backwards on his chair, dropping a book.

Scrambling behind a table, the goon pushed it over to conceal himself. Suddenly, he popped up over the cover and fired off a couple of shots.

The bullets hit their targets, but barely did any harm, grazing past mscriv's leg and the sneaking lady's left arm. The goon's face, however, received bullets from the sneaking lady, the CIA agent and mscriv himself. It all but exploded, and the goon fell over the table, dead.

The sneaking lady strode over to the body and kicked it to the ground.

"Goddammit, why do my arms keep getting grazed by bullets?"

since Ravenvii changed the second floor layout, i don't know how reliable are now the previous maps. I assume that as a minimum the outer shape of the mansion should stay compatible with the lower floor, like before, and the relative size/number of the rooms should be maintained.
we'll need a few more room to see if there is any residual connection, although the position of the stairs do not appear to correspond (teleport? :D)

for now, here is the minimal map with the items/goons and 'navigation' letters

That was my doing.... stairs are useless in a world where they can't bend to my will.

It should be the Don's turn now. Hopefully we'll still have the effect of the speed pills when our turn comes back around.

Does everyone agree that we should search this room? If we do search. it will provide a chance to switch guns around and pick up the one left by the goon we just killed.

I thought we put in the order to torture the goon? or did I miss something.

The explanation I got was that there's nothing to gain from torturing in that last move - the only adjoining room was the hallway we came out of. I let him know to do it going forward where applicable, hopefully we get something out of it on our next turn.

agreed on the search in this room.

I just realized we've been playing this game for 3 weeks.

These EM games do usually take longer, but there's no reason we shouldn't be able to at least make one or more moves per day on either side. One of the advantages of the previous EM game I played in was that there were two storytellers so the game did move at a quicker pace. I can only assume that Ravenvii has had some real life stuff going on.
