I really hope you're just ignorant or incapable of a simple google search and not that blindly racist. Emoji was invented by a JAPANESE for JAPANESE carriers. Holy crap, please let it be that you just didn't know.

Typical white 'humor' that misses the point entirely. In addition to a standard yellow emoji, there are also scores of caucasian ones, and now they are expanding the color range available to people. And you make fun of the situation with ha ha claims of white victim in distress. What a brilliant addition to the subject.
Just realized that for nearly 20 years I have been typing almost exclusively in thin black text on a white background. I'm a horrible monster!
Or maybe the Simpsons had it right and instead of skin toning everything, a nice natural sunflower yellow is the way to go.
Typing black smilies on white isn't anywhere near the issue of colorization of emojis, but you surely must know that if you are older than 12. The Simpsons has black people in it, but the Simpson family is white, represented by the yellow. One could argue that the original yellow emojis are racially neutral, but the hundreds of emojis made since are not yellow, they are Caucasian.
All I see are boxes, boxes and more boxes with a black hand, and one with a white hand. All emoji I ever see is yellow. Neutral, that's the point. It's inclusive because it's nobody. If you pasted white emoji, then you assume I'm white. So by your comments, one could assume you're black, so I could go find black emoji and post it here. It voids your point.
I don't want white emoji, I don't want black emoji or tan, or whatever. Just keep it freak'n yellow for everything. No options. HAIL THE MOTHERLAND!

Some (maybe a lot) of people on the web love the anonymity - user names that give no hint of gender or ethnicity, yellow emoji... But "some" is not all.
Emoji are about self-expression. They're not mandated by the authorities, like the yellow Stars of David during the Nazi era.
If you don't want people to consider your race, gender, religion, national origin, sexual orientation... you're free to leave those off the table. And if you do want them to be considered, then you include them. Simple. You're in control of your public image.
Arguing that emoji are supposed to express some things but not others is pointless. Like spoken language, the meaning and use of emoji can't be etched in stone, it will twist and turn and evolve.
I think the "color" issue has a lot to do with people wanting to use emoji as avatars. Emoji are loaded into every computer, your little jpg avatar is not. Emoji are transmitted as a compact numeric code, avatars are bulkier graphics. If people want to use emoji as avatars, then they'll want to have color as an option.

You are using "Political Correctness" as a disparagement. People simply want an option to have skin tones reflect them, because there are currently hundreds of caucasian emojis. Anti PC outrage is usually a diversion from a false sense of personal oppression. You are not a victim here, so let there be black and brown emojis

I think you are blinded by Macrumors posting the wrong emoticons this is about.
But those are transparent, not white? (I also think almost no one uses this part of Unicode.)
Would that be an issue? I'm not sure how it would be represented, but if we have emojis for cat lovers with pig tails, why not transgender emojis too? Or did you mean for your comment to disparage transgender people? If so, why so evil? Transgender people are real, honest, good, loving, brave people. Can you say the same about yourself?

Your black cat has an emoji. Offering one with a wheelchair would be nice for people in wheelchairs. And you wouldn't be forced to use either, but you would be free to. Your 'joke' pointing to being a victim of PC overlords is an illusion used as a cover for personal power issues.
