EPP is up
The new MacBooks are up on EPP as of Tuesday. I just bought one, and all kinds of other goodies.

For those of you who have used a f&f discount, could you tell me how it works?
I'm waiting for pricing from a friend that works at an apple store--the problem is that he is a few states away. I know the store can only be accessed behind the firewall, so...in order to make this purchase, could I just give over credit card info and just....have to trust him?
Also, I'm apply for an amex card for the 0%apr promo + extended applecare....would I have to wait until I physically was mailed the card to make the transaction?

It should be 15% off + tax. He'll need the basic credit card info, I'd imagine you can trust him, if you know him. Card number, expiration, security code on the back. I went and got mine by going back there and ordering it myself, but I used to work there, so I don't know if they do that for everyone. Its definitely easier that way, so you know exactly what you're ordering.
I got the Juniper iTunes card, and they let you use it on the apple store online right after you get approved, but I waited for the card. You can check the terms when you get the card, or call their customer service.

I highly doubt it. Plus, Black Friday, is only for consumer level stuff, and is normally only 10%. EPP is much better.

Buckles, did you order expedited shipping? I ordered the same day as you but it's still not here.
i did not order any special kind of shipping. It just came with the standard two day shipping. And yes, excluding sunday ( no mail), it was here in two days.
I'm also quite sure they don't do that. I've never heard of apple doubling up on discounts - they affectionately refer to such practices as "double dipping."
There is a possibility that there will be extra sales on the EPP store for black friday, but I wouldn't count on it.
