The word "typewriter" is the longest English word you can type using only the top row of keys on a keyboard.
The initial design for QWERTY keyboards was a little different: it was Q W E . T Y I U O P. The legend says that typewriter company Remington changed it to QWERTY so that salesmen could write typewriter with only the top row.
