I get all my parcels from Apple with UPS. These days at least. Years ago, I had a Fedex parcel I had to collect 60 km away. And once it was DHL Express. But all the ones in the past two years were UPS.

Weirdly, I like talking to their hotline and I hate talking on the phone. 😂 The automated responses are helpful (you put in your order number and it will read the status to you) and even the callcenter employees are incredibly nice and kind. I once coincidentally talked to the same person three times in a matter of days and at the end of the last call in the afternoon he thanked me for the nicest call he'd had all day. I really feel for these guys, they must be yelled at a lot. But they are really helpful if they can.

So, I finally got the e-mail in my inbox (as well as a reservation on my credit card). Pheeeeewwww, that’s another bit of stress relief. 😮‍💨 Glad that’s over with.

I have pre ordered the Air now too... I just cant decide between the 17 and Air... but im sure the Air will have a horrible battery life. 😅

Just checked apples battery list again... Air (streaming) 22 hours and the 17 has 27 hours.... I should cancle the Air lol....

Is 22 hours really “horrible” or indeed all that different from 27 hours?

And the new 17 has a greatly improved battery life from previous iPhones that were already mostly fine. Meaning the Air is probably at least as good as previous iPhones that were considered to have good battery life.

No. I think the Air turned out to have a great battery life. Unless you run the big screen at max brightness (e.g. using it outside while exploring a city on summer holiday – admittedly a common use case that stresses the battery), I think it will do very well.

On the other hand, I think the 17 that only weighs 12 miserable grams more than the Air and has a 6.3″ instead of 6.5″ screen is an obviously better value. As far as dick-measuring contests go, 0.2″ is not worth talking about.

I think the issue is more that im using my phone more than I should....lol..

I'm paying with credit card and Apple account balance. They charged my Apple account but not my credit card.

There was an Apple Store maintenance break this morning, so maybe some systems reseted and it doesn’t display the correct status right now.
I would not worry, the status is very often a bit lagging or not up to date. If in doubt, phone the hotline :) the automated system will tell you your current status.

I preordered the 17PM silver. I’m going to pick up it the 22th of September but im actually in Dubai so I’ll see if I can buy one before going back to France. In Dubai, it’s less expensive and it’s the E-sim version so better battery life
 
Ordered right after the store went live on Friday afternoon. Germany.

- iPhone Air, Black, 1TB - ETA 19.9.
- iPhone Pro Max, Orange, 1TB - ETA 29.9. - 7.10.

Bummer, but hope the Pro Max will slip to earlier shipment as I will return one of them and couldn't decide which one to keep yet and would like to compare them first.

Just a minor note… The 17 screen is 6,27” and the Air screen is 6,55”, so the difference is 0.28”.

From what I've seen in recent years, the iPhone Air is the only model whose screen size is rounded down. It’s only 0,13” smaller than 13/14 Pro Max (6,68”) for example.

My case which I ordered from apple should have come today with UPS and it is delayed now... This gives me high hopes for Friday.... 🙄 But it is only ups standard package. I think iPhones will be send with Ups Express, at least I hope so.

I proceeded as you recommended and they told me the same time frame, i.e. 24th to 29th September.

It‘s the same time frame, but the status itself somehow jumped back to the previous state. Very confusing. I was hoping that my Ultra 3 and iPhone will be delivered at the same time, but apparently they won’t. 😁

Okay, I see! Well there is still a chance you’ll be bumped up to release day delivery, especially if it was already preparing for shipping for a minute 😂 Fingers crossed! 🤞🏻

So, I ordered an iPhone 17 Pro Max Silver, AirPods Pro, and an Apple Watch Ultra for pickup in Germany. The problem is that the iPhone is available from 8:15 a.m., the watch from 10:15 a.m., and the AirPods from 11:15 a.m. Unfortunately, there were no other slots available.



Can I still pick everything up at 8:15 a.m.? Do you have any experience with this?

It would be annoying to only get the iPhone or, God forbid, to have to pick everything up at 11 a.m. 😁

Hi everyone, just ordered 2 days ago from an official Premium Reseller in Italy. Still got no updates about the shipping, since they say the situation is critical about everything this year.
 
Just updated my 15PM to iOS26 and it's now a nice pocket warmer. 🥴 Hope it sorts itself out until tomorrow. And the glitches still happening.. whew. Hope my new phone will deal with this better ^^

I first thought I’d order the 17 Pro Max, but after some debating with myself I went with the 17 Pro in silver (256GB). I have a 15 Pro Max now and even though I love the screen it feels a little too big so the Pro it is!
Pre-ordered from my carrier and no exact delivery date was given, just said 3-4 weeks.
