What a belter of a first half!

Has Schweinsteiger scored the goal of the tournament so far?

Anyone following the Premier League knows about Ronaldo's irritating behavior on the pitch.
I though I heard he has been nominated for an Emmy once.... for best actor.

Man, these Portuguese are whiners...

Did you see the acting by Ronaldo? Went down with a light touch to the leg, seemed OK, then started writhing around on the ground to get a card assessed to the German.

Edit: it looks like his foot might have been stepped on in passing, but still.

From the BBC's running report:

"2050: Cristiano Ronaldo is tripped by Arne Friedrich, who slyly treads on the winger's foot as he runs past. Stupid from Friedrich but it prompts the most remarkable histrionics from Ronaldo. A lot of screaming and about three rolls. Friedrich is booked after which Ronaldo appears to recover."

He pouts like a bloody Page 3 model - and he's a big enough tit to justify the metaphor*! :D

(*Or is it a simile?)

Man, I so wish he leaves Man Ure.
Not so much about the United, but so much I hate to watch him in the the PL.

YES!!!
Germany 3-1!

EDIT:
Then again the PL is gaining another irritating guy: Scolari. He thumped a colleague not so long ago, right on front of TV cameras.

Portugal have gr8 players, but the irritating guys always keep me from liking them:

Ronaldo.. we know about that now.
Deco... abut the same, but a little less.
Scolari... can't stand his aggression.
Figo... this guy was the creme de la creme of whining and cheating. <shudder>

the germans really are kicking their butts...

Phew! Because of the flooding here, the buses are running on a different schedule and I missed most of the game. I'm relieved that Germany made it without me shouting at the TV for most of the match.

hhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiisssssss...... on germany. :mad::(

lol. i just noticed in a "youtube" replay that ronaldo actually did get stepped on... if bet he decided to keep running instead of flopping and trying to draw the foul they might've even had a better chance to score...:

It's a tossup. Yes, he would certainly be a better player (doing more, scoring more) if he didn't go down quicker than a drunken prom date but he is amazing from freekicks, so trying to win more of them isn't a bad thing.

I just want a ref with giant steel huevos to card him on a dive. (The one yesterday was a flop, then he got stepped on.)
