Statement of fact: "Your statement is incorrect."
Insult: "You are a liar."
A lie is now an incorrect statement ?
Again, spinning and muddying. Seems you are quite apt at doing both. A lie is an incorrect statement made knowingly in order to misrepresent.
You are a liar is as much a statement of fact as Your statement was incorrect. In fact, it carries much more sense, as it is saying that while your statement was incorrect, you knew it was, and you made it in an attempt to misdirect your audience.
