I wouldn't be surprised if folks at the UPS hotline were just repeating hearsay and watercooler theory crafting themselves. I'm kind of suspecting that all they do is just look up your tracking # on the UPS website themselves and then just put on their smooth voice.
Edit: Anyways, my advanced math knowledge tells me that IF my parcel left for Munich at about 0430 in the morning it should be in the local depot here at around 10, 11-ish, and I'll see a update then soon enough.
Could be... but so far 4:30am is my "latest" departure scan from Cologne, and she saw that on the hotline, too.
Unless another departure scan shows up from Cologne in the tracking, I'm keeping my hopes high
