I wouldn't be surprised if folks at the UPS hotline were just repeating hearsay and watercooler theory crafting themselves. I'm kind of suspecting that all they do is just look up your tracking # on the UPS website themselves and then just put on their smooth voice.

Edit: Anyways, my advanced math knowledge tells me that IF my parcel left for Munich at about 0430 in the morning it should be in the local depot here at around 10, 11-ish, and I'll see a update then soon enough.

Could be... but so far 4:30am is my "latest" departure scan from Cologne, and she saw that on the hotline, too.
Unless another departure scan shows up from Cologne in the tracking, I'm keeping my hopes high

We are receiving parcels via UPS every day and the expected delivery date was nearly always achieved. In the few moments it was not achieved it was delivered later than expected but never earlier. As much as i hoped for an early delivery i think we all (with expected delivery on Monday) have to be patient over the weekend.
Such a pitty.

I had one at 4:30, which I saw just after breakfast, then at 8 it switched over and has been showing 7:30 for departure ever since. Not sure what to make of that.

Also, my initial import scan was at midnight, and today it's reading 0200. Weird.

You could be right. Especially as everybody seems to have that 4:30am departure scan, and it seems unlikely that they would leave in all directions at the same time.

However, for Karlsruhe and Munich, it could be on the same truck. But I have no arrival scan for Karlsruhe yet, so there's no way it will be in Munich by 10 or 11am.

I think only the paperwork went to Herne. The MacBooks will ship directly from Cologne Airport, it doesn't make sense at all to drive them up north if they need to go south.

Hahahaha! Obsessive status checking. Been doing that so much that it will probably be automatically triggered mentally for DAYS to come. Hopefully we can avoid the onset of post traumatic stress disorder.

Came here to post the same thing... looks indeed like it will arrive here on the 13th. Too bad it doesn't go through La Poste; I'm not looking forward to having to find wherever the TNT shipment center is to go pick it up in person.

My adaptor shipped out yesterday too, but it's through Syncreon International and I can't figure out how their tracking works, it always demands some "Web Order Number" I don't have and which seems to not be the same thing as a tracking never.

We left the package in our facility. This may cause a delay.

So, after a Shipping notification on the 5th I finally got notification last night that it was being sent via UPS and I got a tracking number to go with it.

Last night it said waiting to be picked by UPS. I checked this morning and got the following status

"Tamworth, United Kingdom 05/08/2015 4:05 A.M. We left the package in our facility. This may cause a delay. We will deliver as quickly as possible. / Delivery will be rescheduled."

Phone them up and no help at all. No Saturday deliveries and now I have to wait until Monday. Really ****ed off.

If I had the extra money I would just go and get one from John Lewis and refuse delivery.

This is ridiculous. Everybody has the same tracking info on the site, but gets different information from the hotline.

I heard that the BTO Models are only available ONLINE and not in the stores.

It think they bring your MB in position for monday, to your nearest hub.

Mine is still in Herne, coz it is only 30km away from the delivering address

But how can there be two departure scans with no arrival scan? That doesn't make any sense.

Unless it is as the lady told me on the hotline in the morning, one is paperwork (invoice etc.) which goes to my home address, while the MacBook goes to my company address.

Anyways, I will stop worrying about it so much. It doesn't change anything. I just hope I'll get it delivered on Monday the latest.
