TNT Airways flight 3V2 approaching TNT Europe Main facility in LIEGE, Belgium from Shanghai

dEFHU09o.jpeg

This plane is believed to be packed with Macbooks!! ETA 60 minutes or so. I hope TNT sends my Macbook further north fast.

Stock of all models except 1.3's in the Dutch stores. Just picked up mine and cancelled my online order. Happy to be able to pick up a silver instead of the SG one!

Call from Apple

Hi, I received a call from the Belgian Apple store today that my Macbook gold 1.1 was delayed. I was in the 7 - 15 may window and now it would be send before or on the 20th. Anyone else received such a call today? The lady on the phone said it was because of an unexpected amount of orders. I didn't know that the macbook was this popular or did they really underestimate the demand?

Mine was stuck in Germany Koeln for 3 days.
Contacted ups and they missed custom docs from Apple... Called apple and they would correct the error.

So if your package is stuck in one location for +2 days call the shipping company #

Hope to receive mine this monday...

This is happening to me. Last update was Friday morning, the package was in Koeln. But it's the weekend...

I was also to test the MacBook in the local Store. They also had some in stock, but only the silver one with 256 GB.

I'm still waiting for my shipment, but i can definitely say for now: This is one of the best MacBooks i've ever seen before.

This is happening to me. Last update was Friday morning, the package was in Koeln. But it's the weekend...

Mine is still stuck in Koeln Germany (customs don't work in weekends) :)
Funny thing is that the tracking on the apple page states:
"In transit to customer - Shipment on schedule. Delivered before may 7th"
And it's now sunday may 10th
...on schedule...

All our Macs are stuck in Cologne.
By now I've got mine from John Lewis, so whenever the other one arrives it'll have a return sticker slapped on to it straight away. Ridiculous, really.

Mine left Frankfurt yesterday and probably will be shipped to Karlsruhe tonight. Tomorrow is the day, guys :) Finally!

Me too. I picked up mine from John Lewis on Friday, so as soon as the one stuck in Germany turns up its going straight back.

Finally updated!
"Your package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release. / Your package was released by the clearing agency."
Strange that it gets cleared on a Sunday afternoon #

Mine is still in Koeln. Which makes me think the quoted date may 11th won't happen..

Apple says 11th for me, UPS says by the end of 12th.

But... check again: I've now got an arrival scan in Tamworth as of 22:21 after departing Koeln on Saturday morning.

Perhaps it will be tomorrow after all.

Update - Apple Order Status now has "In Transit to Customer- Shipment on Schedule" whereas it had in transit to destination country or something like that. I still feel UPS probably knows better but do hope that is a conservative delivery window from them.

Mine arrived in Tamworth UK last night at 10.21pm, 10th May.

Mine too.

Just had another update and it's now entered a quantum state of both arriving in Tamworth last night and departing Koeln this morning at 5:55!

Last three scans are:

Koeln, Germany 05/11/2015 5:55 A.M. Departure Scan
Tamworth, United Kingdom 05/10/2015 10:21 P.M. Arrival Scan
Koeln, Germany 05/09/2015 8:49 A.M. Departure Scan

Just when it seemed to be likely to arrive today it has all become strange again!

I think it's just the customs handover between Germany UK and I think it's now in Tamworth. Hope so anyway.

After a month and a day of waiting, I finally hold the new rMB in my hands :)

Congrats and enjoy. This will be my last post in this topic as I've picked up one a few days ago in the store and cancelled my online order. I've been very jealous of all you guys getting the status updates ect. and it's strange I still was able to pick one up sooner. Regardless, I hope you all enjoy your MacBooks. I'm still getting used to mine but I'm sure it'll work out.

My rMB arrived in Zurich today at 7:45am, so I'm not sure why the delivery is still scheduled for Wednesday... I live in a major city a two hour drive away. Looks like all the non-UK Europeans are about to finally get their rMBs though!

Mine arrived at the same time, but still with delivery scheduled for tomorrow (to the Stadt Zürich). Probably means there's a pallet or two to break down and sort for final delivery. No idea why yours is scheduled to take a day longer - maybe you're on the wrong side of the Röschtigraben? :)

Weird. UPS's website still says the Mac is in Koeln but Apple just updated delivery status to "in transit to client", while still quoting today as the delivery date... Not sure how to feel about it.
