Does your tracking info look exactly as mine does?
It's a complete chaos.

No, mine looks "normal". There's only one arrival/departure pair for each location, going from Koeln to Herne. There were multiple times though, each one overwriting the previous. Only caught them because of my obsessive refresh mania.

Shipping / Delivery

For all of those that are patiently (and not so patiently) waiting for their new Apple device to arrive as scheduled (including myself) and if you have ever had the opportunity to visit or work for a (UPS, Fedex, DHL, etc...) Carrier's delivery/logistical facility where packages arrive and depart non-stop from around the world, where they are sorted, resorted, handled, scanned and placed on the correct vehicle for final destination delivery, know that the process is quite efficient, despite lags in the information about the items exact location, even though there are scan redundancies.
Not too mention, weather, traffic, customs, and a myriad of other delays. Despite all of this, these Carrier's do a pretty good job at getting us our order as soon as possible. I know that's difficult to accept when we don't get shipping updates or more delivery information to help us bide our time while we watch the clock slowly tick by and another day pass.
Personally I would like to thank all of the people who make it possible for us to have our new device delivered to our door, and usually in excellent condition.
I hope that your new Apple device is in your hands sooner than later.

Looks dodgy. What do you think?

Yeah. Plus you don't see the second USB-C input on the pictures, which is required for charging the MacBook while it's connected to a display.

I'll wait for a few customer reviews ;)

No hard feelings. I'm usually very happy with UPS, and have quite a lot of respect for their work.

Aye. Even if the charging port is on the side not shown, I'd guess it's just a repackaged cheap-o USB-C->USB-2 bridge. The only thing of interest on it would be the ethernet port, but I'd bet it's just USB 2.0 ethernet as well.

Was just looking for USB-C accessoires of which there are plentynone.

The only accessory I bought so far is this adapter: http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00VNA85IA/

But I don't need all that stuff. I'm pretty much already living in the Apple propagated wireless world with AirPrint, AirPlay and Apple TV devices at home ;)

I'll need one of those digital AV adapters Apple sells at markup. Want it to be a dock for at home, which will actually be a improvement over having to connect three or four things to my current laptop. Maybe throw in Ethernet over USB too, but switching network interfaces is usually more hassle than it's worth. Other than that, not much else, yeah.

shipped yesterday.
produced in calendar week 18 and already listed in my Apple Support Profile

That's funny, mine 1.3GHz was produced at the 17th week and shipped at the same day.. What model do you have?
EDIT: Ah! I can see it in the screenshot that it is a base model,)

And to reply to your other post - I am in the same position in ordering the stupid usb-c to usb adapter together with the rMB (10. april at 09:22) and now they estimate the delivery on 18. may to Austria!
How do you know they shipped yours to Luxembourg and that it have to go to Prague?

Oh well. Everybody makes this mistake once ;)
Happened to me before, and since then I always order stuff separately with Apple.

Wow, mine shipped yesterday (1.1ghz 256gb Norwegian/Danish keyboard) was built WEEK 19, i.e the same week we are in!

Been stuck for 24 hours though at TNT facility at Pudong/Shanghai airport. Delivery delayed 1 day.

I'm frustrated... Now we can find it (with some effort) in stores, or will be in stores soon and mine is still planned for june... What is the point to place an order if you see people without reservation get served before you?!?

Still waiting the order as it's a apple on campus order... Discount is better than any other discount available in france...

After Herne Departure Scan now a Frankfurt Arrival Scan. Hands on tour of our Macbooks through Germany. ;-)

Same here, it's been in FFM for a few now. At every UPS depot, the pile gets smaller and the smiles wider. :p

To all of you who are waiting for your MacBooks in Germany:

I am from Gelsenkirchen which is next to Herne and many of us should receive their MacBooks on Monday. It's so frustrating to see they are so close to us but we don't have a chance to get them before Monday... :(

Today I was at the Apple Store DUS and they had the new MacBooks (also 1.1 and 1.2 in some color variations in stock) and everything I can say is: OMG what a beauty!!! Wonderful display, amazingly thin and quite good speakers. We can be so happy to get them soon!

This is ridiculous.
It's been in Cologne for 3 days now (going to the UK... hopefully). Do they just move it around in their warehouse?
I ordered one from John Lewis today. Have waited for the one from Apple for 4 weeks, but they couldn't get it to me in time before shops had it in stock (not Apple, mind).
Worst, I won't be the first to sit around with one at Starbucks now ;)

Cancelled my two...

Picking them up form John Lewis tomorrow instead...

USB-C Digital adapters shipped today though (ordered on 11th April)

According to your tracking UPS tried to call you. I think there are some issues. The parcel will not move until the issues are cleared. You should give them a call i think.

Picked mine up from John Lewis yesterday and it is well worth the wait. I think this is the most perfect MacBook I have ever had over the years. Love it.

Yo.

I'm in the exact same position as you. My MacBook (1.3 SG) and USB-C adapter are shipping separately and (presumably) meeting up to be shipped to me together. I'd much rather they shipped individually and I get the MacBook sooner!

I will never buy again a MacBook together with an adapter or something else. I'm very angry about that situation.

Everything here has tracking informations. And their MacBooks are already in the destination country.

I spoke with Apple. They have detailed tracking informations. But only for internal usage.

So i can say that the order together with the USB-C adapter brings about 2-5 day delay in the whole shipment.

It's a complete chaos.

You seem to never ordered a Mac which was shipped from China? :p

This is just the normal shipment.

You can be lucky. I have no shipment informations at the moment.

Mine is still in Koeln. Here in Portugal there are no Apple Stores but one unit of the MB arrived for display in a premium reseller, the only one in the city. My impressions: that Space Grey is gorgeous, that the screen ratio is weird but the screen is overall very crisp, compared to a 13'' MBA feels great (I really can't understand why anyone would by a computer with such a bad screen). Hated Force Touch, but i suppose that's because I didn't change its settings to my liking, and didn't like the keyboard but I think I will, eventually. Hopefully mine will arrive Monday!

Should I cancel the usb c digital adapter and try tonget it in stores??

My delivery is expected early june, but dont want to add delay to the huge delay

It must depend on what country you're in, because for Switzerland it makes no difference, and they're not even being shipped with the same carrier.

My rMB was "cleared by customs" in Ticino earlier today, although I think maybe that's just an electronic release and not a physical location scan.

Edit: Actually, I see my adaptor is coming through Milan, so maybe the customs release scan on the rMB through Ticino makes sense, even though it was in Arnhem before..

You can order together just ensure that you select to have items shipped seperately as I did. My USB connector arrived last week. My rMB not due until 1-12 June though :(

As soon as I cancelled the USB adaptor my order suddenly dispatched, so speeded up process for me.
