Does the “Hermes Paris made in France” lettering also look a little wrong to your eyes too? More crunchy for lack of a better term, either from the lettering itself or the underside not being supple, or both?

all molds are made by hand with machinery, but by hand. in some straps the molds are more trodden and in others less. then the photo is crooked and the strap used, but it says what must be written there without any marks.
I've asked for more specific photos, the seller sent everything as I asked, everything looks good. Maybe it was a Demo model or has some minor defect, hence the price drop. I think I'm gonna take it to the local Hermes Store and ask for advice, before deciding if I keep it or return it. And I'll post more pictures in here as well as soon as I have it in my hands.
in the Hermes stores there is also the possibility of having them fixed if not in good condition

I don't think you have to worry about that. I recently bought a abused and horribly dirty Braided Solo Pride. With the normal tools it came out like new again, even the light colors like white. I don't think Starlight is any different. A little care now and then with soap, sponge and maybe a soft brush and it should always stay pretty shiny.

I have Cornflower and it doesn't look anything like that (I'm aware this is taken outdoors). I don't have Northern Blue though.
Anyone looking for 38mm Marine Green sport band BNIB check out macblowouts on eBay. One of the rarest colours. They have it and some other rare bands BNIB.

Speaking from experience with the Northern solo loop, it is much frostier and more dull than Cornflower and changes color pretty drastically (think Cactus) depending on conditions. Bring it into lower/indoor light and you’ll see Northern go dull compared to Cornf
