For all you BSL owners out there. The Black Unity BSL is my first of the bunch. I was recommended a size 7 according to Apple’s sizing chart but saw many videos and people suggesting to go one size smaller. So I went with a size 6. Literally within minutes of me wearing the band, my wrist gets bad marks from it. It feels I would say “fitted” on my wrist but the slight tightness is something I’m assuming you’d want with a BSL as I wouldn’t want it to be loose on my wrist. The indentation on my wrist especially after wearing the band for a while really bothers me as my sport bands don’t do that and neither do sports loops. Is this something anyone else goes through and just puts up with it? Thanks for any feedback.

I think that is the eternal question with these bands. You can either go larger and hope it fits snug and doesnt stretch TOO much, or go smaller and hope it stretches enough to be comfortable. No one knows because it is seemingly random/hyper dependent on personal preference and activity/usage.

I would size up from the one you have because that seems too small for my preference, and hope it is not too large/doesnt stretch. Good luck friend!

I appreciate that. I ordered the size 7. The weaving on this band seems tight and seems like it wouldn’t have the stretch issue compared to the previous ones. Hoping the size 7 isn’t too loose. I won’t be keeping the size 6 as it starts to feel a little uncomfortable after a while.

I keep the same size as my silicone (7, same as my sport band hole) and they’re a little snug. They still leave marks but not in an uncomfortable way. Agreed the series 7 tensile strength is way better.

Oatmeal BSL has been on for a little under an hour and feels great, no itch on a warm day, and yet:

My first 45mm BSL was a Size 11 because they did not have 12 in stock at the Apple Store, but I found it rather tight so now I buy 12s. Both leave indentations on my skin, but the 12s feel better from Day One while my 11 felt better over time as it stretched.

I think that what you show is normal. I wear a size 5. It is a snug fit but also a tad loose. Despite this, it still leaves marks. But mine are less visible than yours.

I’m going to see how size 7 fits me
Fingers crossed!

If it feels uncomfortable then it's the wrong size for you.

FWIW, I got the size suggested by Apple. Same size as on silicone bands (5). And yes, they’re a little snug and leave marks but I can wear them all day long without them being unconfortable.

Size 7 was Apple’s recommendation guess I should have just followed. Awaiting Friday now…

That’s what it looks like when I wear a size 2 (I wear a 3 in the regular solo loop.) I switched and now wear a size 3 braided and it’s much more comfortable, though the 2 isn’t really small enough that I can’t wear it.

How long will the current spring bands (bright green) be sold by Apple?

No one really knows. There may be some history of specific types of bands, but colors like this sometimes its one season. Sometimes its A LONG time. You can always risk it by waiting till the next typical seasonal release (so like around WWDC summer), and snag one before then/after those announcements - as that there is usually a delay for new bands to be available - but its a risk.

Bright green is a wonderful color and I highly recommend it!

It’s worth noting that most of the fall 2021 bands were all abruptly pulled from the online store altogether as soon as the spring 2022 bands dropped (so like no more Dark Cherry, English Lavender, Clover, Marigold etc, all gone), so if there’s one you like thats currently on the store, go grab it.

I was pining for the Maize Braided Solo Loop in my size - now that the band as a whole is gone from the store it’ll be about impossible for me to get, so yeah, definitely get sooner than wait

Also keep in mind that other than the Apple exclusive solo loops, the other colors can still be found from other sellers like Best Buy and Amazon, so if a sport band you like was taken off Apple’s site you should still be able to get it until all those other places sell out their stock.

You're not the only one. Its one of the biggest flaws of the Bandebreite app that it does not have a backing pic. But I'm not knocking @athousandbands for the work has been done already. It's nice getting real world in-the-wild pics for these bands.
Yes, it's definitely on our roadmap to add more images of a band, at least the official ones where available. We didn't start with it since I wasn't sure if Apple will allow us to use their images all over the place, but it seems they're cool with that. For now. Additionally, a huge part of the bands looks exactly the same from both sides, 🤭 so we decided to focus on other features. The development is rather slow at the moment, but as mentioned it's on our list and I hope I can share more details on the future of Bandbreite later this year.

[Edit] One of the biggest flaws? What are the others? 🥺
