You wouldn’t want to go for a forty-five minute road training jog in racing spikes but when the day of the meet comes you can’t race in sneakers.

It doesn’t mean the racing spike needs more cushioning and upper and ankle support.

Also I’m starting to wonder if a color like Capri or any of the rich ones that make a silicone phone case aren’t workable on a solo loop because they can’t keep the color when they stretch.
I think you're right. It's like the textile concept of woven vs. knit fabrics. Woven (non-stretchable) fabric holds colors better because they don't stretch (this is how suits are made), whereas knits do stretch, making colors fade faster as a result.

The eucalyptus trees were tall as hell and anyway it’s too green a variety from the clipping I found on the ground. I know there’s the bush with the bluer, rounder leaves on a long, pretty stem somewhere around. This is just like how Cactus was more blue. Also as these leaves decompose they will prob match better.

Admiring your dedication to find the matching leaf!

Just before anyone gets the wrong impression: Eucalyptus is not nearly as blue as Cactus.

Price point should be $39

I don’t like the breatheability

Sport bands just feel more premium
Aha, I see. I personally prefer sport bands, too. Design is more elaborate, material feels thicker/better quality, thus justifying the price.

The sport loop is the epitome of Apple's minimalism when it comes to bands. A strip of silicone and that's it. The design matches the purpose but the overall impression is indeed somehow cheap.

Yeah blue relative to the concept of the plants themselves. I was so caught up tree-peeping I didn’t quite clock the band itself but I don’t think it changes much in different conditions. Here’s the ‘blue’ I’ll be hunting, I guess it’s called Spiral Eucalyptus:

Bringing some novelty to my walks and it’ll be so satisfying if I can get just the right cutesy twins photo.

I don't know if it's been mentioned here, but the latest BSLs Flamingo and Bright Green (in a number of sizes) have been unavailable for a while. Flamingo can now be ordered again (45mm size 5, didn't check the others) but it's expected to take 3 weeks to be delivered!

I managed to find this unicorn band in the Hermes store in Sydney even though it wasn’t listed on the website for sale anymore.
The salesperson said it was the only one left in Australia…very very happy!
That’s a beauty! I would love to have one of those in my collection.
