It is definitely up there.

However for the second year running, Apple’s really annoyed me with Spring Blues - release a really nice blue, but only make it in a Sport Band and not Solo Loop.

I do not understand why the last two fall releases, everything’s available as both Solo Loop and Sport Band to keep everyone happy but when Spring rolls around then nup gotta separate colours and keep them as exclusives.

Capri Blue last year and Blue Fog this year. Both Sport Band only. There are dozens of Blue Sport Bands - but only a handful of Blue Solo Loops.

I’m really getting more into Solo Loops now based on the minimalist look, personalised fit and how comfortable they are compared to the Sport Band
Some part of it is definitely that solo loops are more niche than maybe Apple originally expected and they just want to keep it simple on the hassle-free classic sport band.

But also we still haven’t seen them take a deeply rich and blinding color like Capri from a silicone iPhone case to a silicone solo loop.

Can a color like that even keep its richness when the band stretches? Maybe I’ll be proven wrong but Capri/Flamingo/Bright Green all suspiciously not silicone solo loops.

Summer 2019 Dragon Fruit. VERY Unique color imho, love it.

I would argue disgustingly unique, someone at Apple must have sacrificed their soul to get Magenta bands made! Hopefully Flamingo BSL is a sign of things to come.
Yeah it's weird we haven't gotten another, and yet, if you placed 10 blues in front of me I couldn't for my life tell you what they were with 100% certainty.

Where's my Seafoam Sport Band?

Is it offensive to take a Black Unity band to a party just because it looks cool? Does that ruin the meaning?

me thinks not, a cool band's a cool band.

For sure all these identitarian bands can feel icky if you think about them for too long, what does “take to a party mean?

Just don’t bring up the band and you’re good. Curb Your Enthusiasm vibes otherwise.

Yeah I feel like it doesn't really matter but at the same time it kinda does? not really enough to care though.

For anyone curious, here’s the Lemon Zest Solo Loop, I thought I would give it a try. It’s definitely lemony 🍋 🍋

Going bright on a solo loop is a smart idea, hides the shine better. Lemon Zest is one I've yet to pick up, but it's an exciting color. I just don't really go solo loops unless they're braided.

What size is this, and follow up question, do you wish you had gone smaller/bigger?

If you like the Lemon Zest, I strongly recommend you bite the bullet and buy it now. Apple has regrettably gone back to completely removing seasonal bands from the store (both online and retail) once they’re no longer in season, rather than just leave them up until they sell out as they’ve done the last few years.

This is size five, and nope, no regrets with the size. The apple store measuring tape had me between five and six, and I know from experience it’s better to go a bit smaller than a bit bigger - I have a couple of Braided Loops from last year in size six and a year later they’ve unpleasantly stretched to become a little too loose. Going a bit smaller means you’re covered over the long term and it still feels snug, so it’s not constricting my wrist in any way - it’s very comfortable.

I wish we had the Braided Loop in Lemon Zest or Blue Fog, but I really have to say I was tempted by Lemon Zest due to Apples own marketing, how it’s portrayed here does make it look quite enticing I have to say:

I love Lemon Zest. I wear Blue Fog more often. But Lemon Zest has such a happy vibe to it, I smile more when I wear mine.

I really think every enthusiast should have it in his/ her collection. Highly recommend!

Does anyone have a photo of the midnight sport band next to other dark blues? Next to the pacific green also? My husband thinks he needs it, but I’m not convinced it’s different enough from what he has. lol
Here is one via the search function : https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...and-apple-released-ever.2005810/post-30461043

Perhaps @athousandbands can clarify what the other band colors are, but it was the one I found in a few minutes of search. Hope it helps!

Yeah I've been sized at anywhere from a 5 to an 8, but the 8's become too loose when they stretch out. Which sucks, because my braided loops are all size 8. Pride still fits nicely, though, so at least there's that.
