That's a lot of watches! I've started to collect them too, but for now I'm only after the stainless and edition models. Aluminum is fun, but I personally can't look past the ion-x. I need my sapphire crystal.

As someone who always sees photos of the Disney/Pixar faces on here and doesn’t follow through on plans to try them out, I’ll def hop on this one with the Series 7-era bouncy whimsy animation.

Which bands have been discontinued in your opinion? I can’t see any bands removed from the collection.
Ginger Solo Loop - can see it’s quite similar to the current Lemon Zest Solo Loop. Lemon Zest is probably a great alternative if you wanted Ginger but missed it

I don’t actually know for sure, I just recalled seeing a lot more bands on there before WWDC.

I think we're getting an overhaul of bands this fall if we see no summer release.

They released the normal number of non-Nike sport band/solo loop + sport loops across Series 7.
The collection was culled of fall 2021 colors in March. I think one or two old colors stuck around once you got to the order page but they quickly sold out and disappeared.
Of the few videos so far doing a hands-on of OS9, this one digs into the watch faces nicely. The full color backgrounds for Modular and Metropolitan feel like a massive leap forward as far as fresh coats of paint go. Super excited.

This is a bucket list band for me, but I doubt I'll ever find one that's not outrageously priced.
Seems like capri blue is hard to find on eBay and mercari - any reason why? Surf blue is plentiful.....
Apple sold surf blue for approx 16-17 decades and also gave it away to people who had to wait months for a properly-sized braid to go with their potentially band-less S6

That would ship with the watch hardware. I imagine it’ll be a very long time until they come up with a new one, though.

It is definitely up there.
However for the second year running, Apple’s really annoyed me with Spring Blues - release a really nice blue, but only make it in a Sport Band and not Solo Loop.
I do not understand why the last two fall releases, everything’s available as both Solo Loop and Sport Band to keep everyone happy but when Spring rolls around then nup gotta separate colours and keep them as exclusives.
Capri Blue last year and Blue Fog this year. Both Sport Band only. There are dozens of Blue Sport Bands - but only a handful of Blue Solo Loops.
I’m really getting more into Solo Loops now based on the minimalist look, personalised fit and how comfortable they are compared to the Sport Band
At first I really liked the solo loop and swore off sport bands, but then I realized my skin really doesn’t like solo loops. I get really sweaty underneath and even got a heat rash that lasted for over a week when I wore one while moving in July.
I like braided solos best, then sport loops. Then Nike bands, and I still like sport bands. But I guess those are my order of comfort. And I’m not sure I’m going to wear my two regular solos anymore. Maybe in the winter.
I think Sport Bands also don’t age too well - out of the box, they’re really soft and lovely, but over time they slowly harden up. That’s where the lesser comfort comes in - and as a guy, feeling my arm hairs get pinched slightly isn’t fun either!
Braided Solo definitely wins in comfort as well as being a mix between smart and casual, but almost two years on, I personally still think it doesn’t belong in the same expensive price bracket as the Leather bands. Never the less, I’m keen to see this band get more colours - we still haven’t yet had a light blue Braided Solo
