I agree, it doesn't really scream "Pride" nor Rainbow (too many colors), and at first I didn't like it from promo pictures, but on the wrist it's spectacular, especially for summer.
Only downside: it tends to get dirty on the lighter colors. I have to wash it daily...

Does anyone have a good comparison photo of the blue sport bands, please?
Any must haves amongst them?

I was wrong. Reflective yarns are indeed BACK in the 2022 Nike Pride band. Hard to photograph it but I shown light onto the band in the dark and it was reflective.
I mean I wore it yesterday and the rainbow threads have the same glint as 2021 to these eyes. Nonetheless the mfg description omits mention. And certainly it lacks series 4-6 reflective base threads.

Well, the description on Nike.com DID mention reflective yarn. It might not include as many threads as the older bands hence not as obvious. But I would recommend you shine light at it in the dark. I didn’t really believe it at first either until I tried it out.

shimmery is not reflective. The rainbow threads on 2021 are shimmery, sure, but they're not reflective. You wouldn't claim LNY is reflective, right?
Nike.com literally uses the term “reflective yarn.” If you have an issue with that, I suggest you take it up with Nike’s marketing department that writes the copy instead of debating it here.

Yeah but all sport loops do that. Are you claiming all sport loops are reflective?

As stated upthread this is not the correct info nor is it Nike’s copy.

To be fair, it is Nike’s copy. It’s just not Apple’s. I can see how this would be confusing. Some of the online reviews I’ve seen have said that it’s a shame it has no reflective threads like bands of old.

It is Nike’s copy if you visit Nike.com. And it’s purely conjecture that Nike’s copy is not the correct info or outdated info. Unlike Apple, they might not need to use the same copy since they have their own dedicated page about the Be True collection.

On a different note, I must have missed Magic Ember/Crimson Bliss when it was released. I just saw one on Mercari and now I’m curious if anyone actually has it to show a photo of. Please and thank you!

They copy all the apple band descriptions from apple. It’s a simple fact…

I can cede how Nike may have consciously wanted to avoid saying “Nike’s BeTrue” on their own site but it’s still lazy and probably inaccurate. I think Apple would have left the rainbow language if it was true.

Incredibly nice pair with Starlight. I’ll always think of it as the band that really kicked off Nike’s new “silver.”

And the second “pokemon” Nike after the nice hue-contrasty Chlorine/Green.

I was curious about the discrepancy, because I’d have thought two big companies in partnership over the band would be on the same page. So, I DM’d Nike on Twitter. They responded pretty quickly so it will be interesting to see if their copy is changed.
