Yeah the pre-reflective one has the six-stripe design like bright crimson, recently got both blacks. Black/PP left
I just noticed the seller doesn’t have the black reflective for 38mm/40mm so that was the only black option. I thought he had it as an option like his listing for 42mm/44mm has both blacks and I would choose the reflective over black/pure platinum. I was just wondering if you had any reasoning for choosing that one over reflective but that was your only choice. Hey congrats though! I ordered celestial teal from him as well. Glad your order came in!
Yes there are two Black Nike Loops the older design being mixed with Pure Platinum stripes as [mention]athousandbands [/mention] mentioned and retail box is white (all older non reflective thread Nike Loops still came in white boxes) and newer design has reflective threads and comes in black box like all newer reflective thread loops come in. I actually happen to be wearing my black Nike loop today. Those reflective threads stand out the most on the Black Nike Loop. Literally pictures taken in the shade with no flash or anything just natural daylight and you can easily see them.

Not bad at all. I really like some of these loops more than I thought... might have to start collecting loops. That’s one thing I know about you, you’ve made it clear you don’t do loops, I’m the total opposite. I’m a huge fan of the loops, they’re actually my favorite kind of band. Don’t do it if you’ve already established that they’re not your thing. Just like I’ve established the sport bands aren’t my thing either. (I know a lot of people here will shun me for saying that) I do love seeing them on everyone else’s wrists, the awesome colors and huge collections people have on here, they’re just not for me. Stick to what you know you like lol
Yeah I’m really liking the hint of green and the contrast with the space black. The fact that it is also reflective is just icing on the cake. Definitely going to become a frequently worn band for me!
Resist, my friend, resist. I went pretty hard on the first year of loops. Only got hibuscus year two. Loved c***l but wrote off the rest of the two-tones and all the black-base reflective nikes.
Now I have every loop short hyper grape (too expensive) and royal pulse (just nah), dragon, electric pink, neon lime. I think the fact that I roll them up to store as above makes them something like band fruit snacks?
I got into the Sport Loop game a little late, but after I started with a few, I liked them MUCH better than the Sport bands. My wallet is happy that I really don't like the pricier bands.
I also got into the sport loop game late (about 2 months ago). But once I gave them a try, I was hooked (no pun intended) and now I’m already up to 3 loops. They’re just so comfortable and breathable. My sport bands now are mostly unused unless I am doing something where I know I’m likely to get really sweaty or dirty. The rubber of the regular sport band is still easier to clean. But I like the loops for every other non-formal situation.
Go for what you like! We all have personal preferences doesn’t make one better than the other, I like all bands doesn’t mean they’re all for me. I’m also a newer collector. I don’t have any of the older Loops. Just the classic black Apple Loop as an “older” loop. I just have almost all the new Nike reflective Loops (they’re my favorites) except for a few that just weren’t for me and I have a few woven nylons to dress up the watch.
I throw my loops when needed in the zipped mesh pockets of one of my old adidas pants and throw them in the wash and they come out literally looking like new and dry them overnight and next morning. Voila!
hey, i can’t remember if someone has already posted this but i’ve scrolled back quite far and cant find anything. does anyone have a comparison of coastal grey and cocoa. decided which is better given i already have walnut. thanks

I'll have to try that with a Summit White I got on Ebay that is a little discolored (for $15 it was worth it!)
Your cancelled bands, did they send a tracking number earlier associated w those bands? Did u see if there was any movement with the tracking number on Usps site? Strange, but The ebay person just emailed me and explained finally why my hypergrape was cancelled, out of stock. But Usps is showing continued movement of the package with that tracking number associated w just that band. So we’ll see whats coming I guess.
in the meantime, just got this today and really like it!

I ordered a black and red band on eBay. I was wondering, how can I tell if it's a legit Nike one?
Long post incoming! So, I got a used ceramic Series 5 off of a local sales app for half retail price. I was planning on reselling it since it goes for significantly more on eBay and thought given the price it might be activation locked or have major defects, but after setting it up, cleaning it and A LOT of inspection under bright lighting the only thing I could find was two minuscule black marks below the button, that look like lint but I can't get to come off, even with the patented toothbrush and hand soap trick of @mikedop . I have really fallen in love with watch, but was still on the fence about keeping it because it doesn't have AppleCare+, it's over the 60/90 day purchase period (extended to 90 now during the pandemic) since it was bought on launch day last September, I am accident prone and the ceramic is more brittle (but also more scratch resistant) than the titanium.
I spoke to an AppleCare specialist and he said if it had never been activated and sat in the box they would have sold AppleCare+ to me, but since it was activated, no dice. His suggestion, which I think is a good one, is to buy a third party warranty. If anyone here has experience with third party warranties please let me know!
I am going to sell my natural titanium Series 5 GPS+Cellular, my stainless steel link and my brown saddle leather loop, since those don't go well with the ceramic. If anyone wants to make me an offer on those before I post on eBay this Sunday feel free to PM me!

To answer your question on how to tell if it’s real, OEM Nike bands say “Apple Watch|Nike” on the back. See picture attached.
As for normal sport bands, they have printing on the back, like so:
