Good to see all those deliveries coming in! Love that Ceramic too...

When I joined, someone asked me to post photos of the collection, so here we go - as it stands today (another 6-8 in the postal system). My 44mm first then my wife's 40mm. As a bonus, a shot of the collection as it was on 18th May - 38 days ago - just before I ordered the new Pride bands and this lockdown odyssey began... "My wife will have all the Pride bands" I thought, "I want them all too..." ***Hits the Internet*** "Ooh, they have the 2017 one... and that nice green... and that one's a good price... I wonder if she'd like that pink... etc..."

Some stats... Average price paid, £26.14 ($31.98). If I take out all the ones I bought full retail price (£49) from Apple, Amazon etc., average comes down to £21.34 ($26.10). 68% of the bands are boxed. You can probably extrapolate my total spend from that lot, but please don't, it scares the life out of me!
lmfao, ive got all of the sport bands and most of the nike sport bands and some other rare-ish bands ive easily spent like 5+ grand

That ceramic is so good. And looks perfect with the brightly coloured bands. I like it with the leather loops as well, particularly the Meyer lemon but also the saddle brown actually.
You think so? Maybe I need to take a look at the saddle brown again. The brushed stainless link I think definitely doesn’t work, but it might if I polish it to a polished finish, like here, as the Milanese which has more polish looks good with it now. Not sure I want to forgo ~$150 resale to find out, though.

Awesome pics! Enjoy the ceramic!
Thanks! I am definitely enjoying it. My wallet, less so.

Thanks! These pics are dangerous! Making me want to get into woven nylons and I’ve already been bad and gotten into Nike sport bands when I told myself I wouldn’t...

The only bands I think definitely go better with the titanium are the stainless link bracelet and saddle brown leather band, so going to sell those:

I have more pics with milanese, walnut, cocoa and vitamin C but don't want to blow up this thread. If anyone wants pics of the titanium or ceramic with any bands, loops or leather loops let me know and if I have the band I'll take the pics!
Damn, the Ceramic is so pretty. I miss my old S2 Ceramic. The one thing that is slightly bothering me is that dark metal pattern on the digital crown. I know it has to be there for the ECG purpose, but still. Anyways thanks for the nice pictures!

I love brown leather with white - it’s just a look I find very classic - so the combo of ceramic and saddle brown appeals to me. I don’t like the metal bands as much with the ceramic. Also I’ve never actually seen the link bracelet polished up like that!

I think the polished stainless works but not brushed. I think it might very well work if I polish the brushed stainless but not sure how easy it would be to get it brushed again if it doesn’t work so that’s an expensive risk to take. But definitely black metal works, even with this knockoff space black link:

Yeah couldn’t agree more. I suffer a little metal to get the brown Hermes hooked up with my 40mm. On a certain level it’s so wrong but I love it and the modern buckles too much.

Crap!!! Good eye. Yes, I have desert sand but I guess either it is feeling shy and didn't want to be included in the photo or I am a dumbass and just forgot to include it. I am going with it was just feeling shy today excuse.
Good excuse.

I’m so close to finishing the Nike collection myself. Light Bone is going to be the death of me.....

> buy trashed used classic buckles in bulk
> switch out classic buckle lugs with modern buckle lugs
> profit
Great idea. How easy is it to change the lugs? I have never done that?

Here are my modern buckles on my 44mm

No, I actually have a 44mm but luckily I am not OCD and I just do not let the tiny gap bother me. I love the modern buckles. I wish they made them in 44mm but they don't

I wish I could get a leather loop for my 40mm. All the third party ones seem to have awful lug fits.

Anybody else an original yellow owner? Spent the last few days trying to figure out what the color was.. think I finally got it. Like the rich velvety smooth yellow of a sunflower’s petal. Very eye catching and unlike any other yellow! Side note.. I’ve developed this strange need to get all things yellow, is that a disease? Not just bands! I’m turning everything yellow!

I’d ask which Ferengi Rule of Acquisition that was, but then I’d be revealing my nerdiness.🤓
im currently re-watching the series, up to season 6 rn

Long post incoming! So, I got a used ceramic Series 5 off of a local sales app for half retail price. I was planning on reselling it since it goes for significantly more on eBay and thought given the price it might be activation locked or have major defects, but after setting it up, cleaning it and A LOT of inspection under bright lighting the only thing I could find was two minuscule black marks below the button, that look like lint but I can't get to come off, even with the patented toothbrush and hand soap trick of @mikedop . I have really fallen in love with watch, but was still on the fence about keeping it because it doesn't have AppleCare+, it's over the 60/90 day purchase period (extended to 90 now during the pandemic) since it was bought on launch day last September, I am accident prone and the ceramic is more brittle (but also more scratch resistant) than the titanium.

That ceramic looks soooo cool!

Enjoy it!

Does the band lock into place well with the smaller lugs?
Locks in perfectly. I do not have any problems at all with it not locking in. Same as any of my 44mm bands. There is just a tiny empty space on each end. I have a handful (I think 4) 38/40 bands that I bought out of desperation. Not being able to find them in the 42/44 size.

I have a few yellow shirts, but I love the original Yellow band! Really didn't expect that one, but it's so nice.
