Seafoam sport band with the ceramic white watch
I, uh, may have been inspired by my new Chinese New Year to order a refurbished series 4 SS gold. I have a number of other bands with gold pins because my first couple apple watches were aluminum gold and at that time I found everything I could on eBay with gold hardware (just stone, cocoa, midnight, pink sand). I switched to silver aluminum later because of how versatile it is for my band collection, and for awhile I had series 3 in both gold and silver. This will be my first stainless steel watch! I’m curious to see how I like it. I wish series 4 had the face always on, but that single feature wasn’t worth a nearly $400 difference to get series 5.

Welcome to the club! I feel like it’s just me and @Fhotofaerie holding it down with the bronze/blush/dead sexy gold (yes I swapped for coastal gray already)
I just wouldn’t imagine there are many bands that pair well. Also, Gold wasn’t even an option when I bought my watch, otherwise I might’ve gone for it.
The S1 came in Brimstone and Papyrus right?
That’s kind of the appeal...it’s for a very specific mood. But the special gold pin bands make up for it with the extra matchiness. I have them all except cocoa/gold and I guess black/gold if we’re letting that count. Here’s that gen 2 with the anachronistic rose gold pin (clashing a bit). And of course when all else fails the gold Milly loop is there.
Yeah, there were gold options, but the place I bought mine from only had SGA and SA.
Which is why I ended up with silver as my band collection grew. But the very most stunning looks to me are with the gold. So now I’m back to having both (or will when it is delivered). Silver Nike series 5 and SS gold series 4.

I was about to tell you I had an extra Cocoa, but I’m glad I checked. I gave my spare to my boyfriend. I have a left over M/L from mine and a leftover S/M from his, but no extra pin piece. I do have an extra stone and I think I’m about to have an extra pink sand.
I really wanted a Gold Stainless Series 4 to replace my Stainless Series 0, but my local Apple Store just never got one in and they were backordered online forever. Eventually the store got a Space Black Stainless Steel (which I have admired since the S0 days) so I went with it and honestly don't regret the choice because I can find black replacement lugs for bands while I have never seen a perfect (good, yes, but not perfect) match for Gold.
There are a number of Sport Bands that look really good with the Gold Stainless, but I am not a fan of Sport Bands so I will stick with Space Black Stainless going forward (not that I am in a hurry to replace my Series 4).
So then I’m curious, if you guys won the lottery, what would your Watch & band collection look like?

A month or 2 ago I had S3-S5 SGA watches and realized how ridiculous that was.
I don't see the difference between all the dark watches so I'd just want the current dark Titanium and white Ceramic. I don't remember what the gray ceramic looks like?
The Apple Magnetic Charging Dock ($79)? Those do look cool. Thought about finding one on ebay but I really like the Spigen stand I have & was wondering if AirPower would ever come out.
Yeah, the magnetic dock! I’m having trouble finding one for a good deal too.
As far as gray ceramic goes, I think @athousandbands had one you can ask to see.
The dock is pretty nifty looking. I’ve always used the stand from Nomad.
I originally used one of those cheap 3-in-1 stands, but after moving places I stopped using it. Now I just have a naked charger lying on the floor that I toss my watch on every night.
I’m ready and willing to do whatever gray ceramic pics people want. Could toss the white in frame too. Don’t have the black Ti but it’s not much to see. Darker than the SBSS, as matte as the SGA, only earns it dinner when paired with the black links, imo.
I paid for one “toilet bowl” dock and was given three more as freebies...they’re cool but make sure the puck is fully 90°...
Would love to see both ceramics modeling a rose red if you have that one.

Haha the “given three” clause is separate sorry. By my friend who worked on the project. Rose red is 40mm so that will be funky but you got it. After I finish grilling.
