Their trade-in value has gotten almost insulting. It was much better when series 4 came out. I think I got $175 for my series 3 when upgrading to my series 4. Now I think the max they will give you no matter if it is SS or a sports is $100 for the most recent series.

I think when I tried to trade in my series 4 stainless for a series 5 when the series 5 came out, Apple gave no more than a measly $125! I sold it on eBay for a little less then 500 so I’m not sure why Apple low balled on those. Apple is much better with iPhone trade in values when the new iPhones come out, where I feel it may actually be worth it than list a last Gen iPhone on eBay or something.

the ceramic watches I’m slowly warming up to with all these pics, I just don’t know if I would be able to match the many classic leather buckles that I have and since i really enjoy that band style. But the ceramic looks great with many of the other bands in all the pics posted here earlier! Probably gets many more looks and comments than any other style of Apple Watch.

Send link and I’ll oblige
Scratch that. You can't trade in a S5.

Lol! Alright so maybe my observation is for the most recent Gen iPhone models only. Apple so generous with this (but stingy with everything else)!
Haha, to be fair, it's a cracked iPhone 7. I doubt anyone would pay much for it, so I give Apple a pass here.

SO that Celestial Teal band that was mentioned here earlier (sold for $15 on last night) is showing as cancelled and relisted by the same seller up for $80+ shipping (Not an unfair price actually). Out of curiousity I messaged the seller to ask why it was relisted. She said someone messaged her today to tell her she should have sold it for higher and should cancel the order with links to ebay listings, etc...

Was it the sport band or sport loop?

I just opened my 2nd band of the week (celestial teal sport loop, BNIB)... couldn't wait another week in case they sold out. Since I'd already made contact with the seller to check the size (it was listed as 38/44mm) the logical next step was to hit "buy" (227 RMB, roughly $32 delivered. Bands retail here for 379 RMB or roughly $53.50)

I love the colour of this sport loop. Has anyone got a comparison with the celestial teal sport band though? On the promo shots they don't actually look to be the same colour as each other, with the sport bands being a couple of shades darker. Seems to be a theme across all of the nike bands from that year - the olive flak band is pretty dark but the loop seems to be lighter and I'm not sure I'll like it as much if I pick the loop up.

Dont have either (sad) but I found this on Reddit. Hope it helps!

Yeah there’s a pretty good gap and celestial teal is the widest, here’s a lazy post, cropped from my picture of every band. This season is my ish and I’ll make a full family pic with all six tomorrow in the light if no one else does first.

That's not too bad a difference. I started to worry when I found a picture (I liked) on here comparing the band with olive flak... then I got out my own olive flak band and realised that picture was WAYYYY off.

It's going to stay in my "maybe" pile I think. If the seller runs out before I get around to buying it, so be it. Blue cobalt (regular sport band) is staying above it for now, as is the Midnight Turquoise/Aurora Green nike band.

Thanks! I love Meyer lemon as well. And I think I’m doing pretty well on my stand goal considering I’m in a boot and compression socks. Did have to lower my move goal quite dramatically, though. View attachment 928093Also before I get **** for my low exercise – doctor said I can’t do any, which is killing me. Tried to go on a trike ride yesterday but it was a bad idea as my arm was throbbing when I had to reach for the brake quickly after my boot slipped off the pedal. This is from before that.

Oh my goodness. I remember you said you had an accident on your bike but I didn’t realize it was this bad. Hope you heal up quickly my friend!

My floors are terrazzo. I feel ya. I tend to put mine on while seated on edge of my bed, with arm over the bed - just in case.

Mine are terrazzo too. I switch bands over the bed/dresser.

Maybe we need a Wiki with a section for every band that people can post real-life photos in... Maybe a bit much work, but would be useful!

Maybe separate threads for each band?

there should be a thread for each type of watch case pair with each type of band such as SS/sport bands, ceramic/nike bands, spacegray-aluminum/Loops and so on.
Sorry, you are no longer allowed to post in the thread: “BLUE-HORIZON-SMALL-MEDIUM-WITH-SPACE-GRAY-ALUMINUM-CASE-SERIES-4” Instead, please post in “BLUE-HORIZON-SMALL-MEDIUM-WITH-SILVER-ALUMINUM-CASE-SERIES-5”
thank you!

LMFAO the postage to the US is nearly as much as the band, get bent seller....
I bought my Yellow overseas, it came from the UK as well. Cost me I think around $17 for delivery to the US. Seller is definitely pushing it... my guess is he just doesn’t want to deal with the hassle unless he gets some extra cash on top of it.

Kinda odd. I’ve bought from other UK sellers and they usually charged ~10 GBP to ship. Dunno why this seller is going way higher...:(
I mean, I can’t imagine international shipping is as easy as printing a label and putting it in the mailbox, right? I think eBay introduced a system to make it easier, but most of the time mail sent through that is lost or broken, so a lot of sellers try to avoid using it. That makes it a hassle, and I don’t blame him for maybe charging $15-17 to make a buck or two over shipping costs, but $27 is ridiculous.

I have an open box 38mm flash sport band if anyone is interested. Was going to post on eBay tomorrow along with a 44mm spearmint NIB, 44mm hyper grape NIB, a new Hermès Noir Swift single tour 44mm, a new 42mm second gen blue (no box), new 38mm midnight blue with yellow gold pin (no box), a 44mm khaki sport band NIB, large black gen 2 leather loop (used, good condition), black gen 1 44mm sport band (used, very good condition), 44mm stainless Milanese (used, very good condition) and a 40mm gen 2 black sport band NIB. If anyone is interested feel free to PM me an offer before I list tomorrow afternoon.
