@TotalMacMove had asked for pics of the Midnight Blue lugs on the one I bought from him...even though it's days later I figure it might still be useful for someone.
Also, yesterday received this Neon Pink Sport Loop from Poshmark...$15 but the pics checked out so I took a chance. I think it's the real deal? It has all the markings, serial, etc. and it's the same size as my other OEM loops.

Bought these two watches off eBay, mostly for the bands. They’re listed as “Turns on, but only shows the green snake.” At least one comes with a SS charger.
Anybody know a fix for that? I’m thinking I may end up having to replace batteries, which I don’t know if it’s worth it since they’re both S0 devices. If they don’t start up when I get them, I’ll probably just use them to model bands.
Also, is the blue one a Midnight Blue or a Bright Blue?

I wonder if it’s in the contract for those celebrities to not sell the watch. Speaking of, how close could you get just by gold plating your own watch and link bracelet? I mean unless you find a gold edition, you won’t have any special faces and different etching on the back, but from the outside it’ll look and feel pretty much the same (besides weight maybe), right?

It did, it just has a spot or two where the color has faded, less orange-y there. But it’s faint.

If someone gave you a gold watch with a gold link bracelet, wouldn't you put it on right away too?
If it turned WiFi off your AirPods and watch would lose their W chip connection rather than just disconnecting from the WiFi network like most people are trying to do when data stops loading and they want to see if it’s because Comcast or Charter is “taking a break.”
And what if your service is taking a break for, say, 24 hours but you still want ad-hoc WiFi features as above...

I imagine it’s just like any other fashion “dressing”...a lot of times these are loaners. I imagine in the case of the gold links there would be no chance of “oh let’s let them keep it so people see them using our new-fangled wrist computer”...if only because they don’t want other random people getting access to what is essentially a secret/private band. I wonder if the same was true for the watch itself, material aside, as the item had not launched and I don’t think Apple wanted Samsung getting some demo time with Queen Bey’s model.
Now I’m wondering if maybe all of them didn’t activate and it was just Karl’s who was on at all...I mean were they furnishing all the celebs with the Apple Watch app and an unreleased version of iOS? All that seems like it would require a handler/bodyguard to travel with the watch...
