Not an official pairing but cerulean goes nice with my indigo haze/blue hero nikes

I usually follow a “soak, wash, rinse, repeat” formula for my woven nylons. I use dish soap as it’s softer on the bands than hand soap, but I’ve been curious to try laundry detergent too.
I've used laundry detergent - the colour, sorry, 'color' variety. It has turned some £5 stinkers into nearly-new looking bands. I've had a few 2018 Prides pass through my hands in various states of grubbiness. The brighteners in the detergent really lift the white without dulling the colours, something that hand soap won't do.

Do you put them through a washing machine or hand wash with detergent?

Okay... Here's a before and after of a 2018 Pride. Lighting is different between the two, but you should get the idea...

If I had access to Selling Board, I'd offer it for sale. But I don't, so I can't... I'm happy to have a private chat with anyone who is as frustrated as I am about not having access...

Impressive! They look almost brand new!!

Wearing another from my recent woven nylon binge this morning. The black stripe band matches really nicely with my SBSS due to the black buckle while still being more interesting than the original solid black woven nylon.

I really wish Apple had not abandoned the woven nylon line. They are 90% of the comfort of the sport loop while keeping the look of a more traditional watch band. Also the tight weave let Apple have a much more varied set of pattens (stripes, checked, pinstripes) that simply wouldn’t look good on the sport loop. Oh well, maybe they will be like the modern buckle and get resurrected one day!

Has Apple changed their band manufacturers over the years? Probably so, but I’m asking because my Nike SB in pure platinum/black is definitely harder/thicker than my royal pulse/black and teal tint bands.

I bought the pure plat one back in April 2019 and obviously the other colors I have are more recent.

They definitely feel softer and a bit more flexible compared to the pure plat.

I don’t know about manufacturers, but I believe it has been documented that Apple changed the formula for its sport bands slightly around the time the Series 4 launched (late 2018). This led to a slight difference in weight and texture. The PP/B band had been available for quite a long time and has used both formulations I think. Is your band marked as 38/42 mm or 40/44?

This week I cleaned a 2017 pride woven in the washing washing machine on delicate. Let air dry and it looks new. It was a recent purchase from Mercari and wanted it clean before I wore it.
