Did you explain it was a fake? Or is it going to be chucked into the resell pile again?
I told them it was fake and was honest and up front with them. The guy didn’t even seem to care, so it just might end up back in the open box section.
That sale comes around quite often, no worries. This definitely wasn’t the last round.
I figured you wouldn't have any trouble. Not for a $50 watch band. If it was the watch itself, this probably wouldn't have happened as they would have checked for matching serial numbers between the watch and the box.

yeah but it might not be available at that point.... had this happen with a few of their loops, shouldve gotten on them the first time around, oh well.
i really hate the way that people take photos of things, they took a picture of the retail packaging but didnt show the 4 stickers that were plastered all over it. i just spent a good 20-30 mins cleaning it off. i know i could try and ask for additional pictures but by then they could just sell it to someone else. ill never understand why people put that **** on there.
I appreciate that. I tried to delete my post in the wrong discussion and repost it where it *might* have belonged so it definitely could look like I was spamming. I'll look more closely where I post in the future. And I think I've learned a lesson on third-party bands. The Teal one is perfect but the Green one looks like the wrong size by a millimeter on each side. Poor fit. But hey, ya get what ya pay for!Not outside the 3rd party/knockoff thread, we don’t. I get it, I have knockoff bands too, one of which i am very pleased with because of its quality compared to the real deal (and i simply wont pay what it takes to get the OEM equivalent), but this forum is for OEM stuffs. When you post the same thing in more than one thread, you begin to sound like you are shilling for that company. I don’t think you are, but just sayin’ that its coming across like that
That is often the issue with knockoffs; the lugs are usually too small and rattle around (especially the pin side) or they are too big and you have to really push it in. However, some are better than others, and you just have to try different brands to find one that works well enough
Aww, I used to only be a sport loop girl, but I feel like the bands are much softer and comfortable to wear.
I do get a strange sense of satisfaction from cleaning really dirty bands.
I should probably start a thread like one of those makeover shows - Start with a dirty band, give a bit of backstory about what a tough life it's had, but how it has never given up and has always kept the watch on the wrist, against all the odds... Then a few heartwarming stories from fellow bands about how it was always the first to step forward and be worn when a toilet needed unblocking or a tire needed changing, all building up to the big reveal - A band that looks as good as new, gleaming in the sunlight...
And then cutting to the new owner who put all the effort into cleaning it crying out in anguish "You were supposed to be a Midnight Blue Nylon! We go through all of this and then I find out that under all that dirt you're actually Navy/Tahoe Blue? I feel betrayed!"

Regular Apple Sport Band vs Nike Sport Band. Which one? Would love to hear inputs.
I personally prefer Nike sports bands. I like that they breathe better. I just wish they had more color choices.
I prefer both over sport loops (for now) but of the two I’d take Nike. You get more breathability, but I prefer them because of the dual-tones. They offer a lot of color pop, so it isn’t a surprise that it’ll be the first collection I complete!
(Assuming I eventually find a Celestial Teal...)
I also much prefer the Nike bands for breathability. Though, I’ve pretty much switched to sport loops and woven nylons for casual wear since they are even more comfortable than the Nike bands. I rarely wear my Nike sport bands these days and haven’t worn a regular sport band in months.
I tend to be more on the hunt for nike bands. Dual colors look great
Nike bands seem to be the clear winner so far
I have more regular sport bands compared to the Nike (I’m not a fan of loops), but overall I’d say I slightly prefer the Nike for the color pops and for breathability! I have three and want more! Waiting for the fall release.
I prefer Nike bands in the summer for breathability, but I like the Sport Bands in colder weather.
