Considering how terrible Apple’s hero shots are, I really hope the Purple Pulse is as vibrant as it looks on the side here:

Post-event thoughts (watch band related!):
- Quite an overwhelming dump of new bands, the new Sport Loops definitely the pick of the bunch for me. Sport Bands are pretty dull, and would like at least one Solo Loop but not before trying on the sizes and don’t fancy that at the moment with Covid.
- Blue and Red watches were somewhat unexpected (the latter more so). I don’t think they look great with any bands other than blue/red. Probably not ones for people with massive band collections. Red is my favourite colour but not sure I’d even wear the red watch, it’s a bit in your face!
- Solo Loops have an asterisked disclaimer: Strap may increase in length over time. Not sure if they will have great longevity...
- £99 for the braided solo loop?!
- Ceramic is no more. Again.
- Not a fan of leather bands but the Leather Link is 40 and 44mm which hopefully pleases some people!
No ceramic 😩😢, for me that only really leaves the natural titanium, really don’t know how I feel about that.

I was going to go Space black instead of SB titanium. I enjoyed titanium in S5 but it wasn't that spiffy to me. Graphite is actually like a dream finish for me. CAn't wait to get it! but it looks like a 21st-25th delivery.
Obsidian Mist Nike Sport Loop is acquired. I want the Spruce Aura Nike band, but only one band is allowed to be purchased at this time. Maybe I can get the Nike band for Christmas.
I like the Nike obsidian/black so may go for that. Pity there wasn’t a bright pink.
I’ll definitely stick with my series 4 til next year! Happy to upgrade the OS tomorrow! Cool new faces!

Agree , in my opinion the Space Black Titanium always looked way too similar to Space Grey Aluminium.
The new Grapphite StainlessSteel that replaces the Space Black looks very shiny and elegant, somewhere between Silver and Space Black SS

Not a big sport loop guy overall.Ordered S6 Nike with purple pulse band. I’ve never had a Nike watch before but I really wanted to grab this purple one before it sells out.
Those look great with those bands, but I think matching to other colors will be tough. Dragonfruit on that Red one would clash so much. It's why I eventually traded in my Rose Gold for Black. Anything goes with Black! (Space Grey, whatever
)

Also graphite steel is PVD, confirmed via the graphite Milanese loop product page. I am going to cancel my order once apple lets me.

A bit OT, but is it correct that if I buy a gift card that says "App Store & iTunes" I can now add it to my Apple Store account and can use it for watch bands? A points redemption app I use is having a 15% sale on iTunes cards.
It’s literally just the 2015 Bright Blue/Midnight Blue shade.
I wonder whether the new Deep Navy color is just Midnight Blue in a different name
There is no Edition collection this year, however, Titanium remains available in the form it was introduced in last year, now in the standard Watch collection. Use the Apple Watch studio to find it. Ceramic is once again no more
On the app the Titanium versions are right at the bottom of the page labelled Edition Series 6 for anyone who is looking for them.
Why are you cancelling?? What's the issue with PVD? Easy scratching? surely no diamond like but is it that bad?
