Olive Flak at $13??
Spruce Fog/Vintage Lichen. I am really liking the greenish tint in that one.

A few bands came in...Peacock leather loop and Nectarine sport band. Both looking lovely on the graphite SS.

Here’s an unwanted update on my day for you all. I went into an Apple Store today:

*Series 6 Gold vs Series 5 Gold:* My Series 6 Gold came in couple of days ago. I wanted to LOVE it, I really did. But, compared to Stainless Steel - perhaps I’m color blind - but I can barely tell the difference. Especially in sunlight. Compared to my Series 5 Gold which you can tell apart from at a distance. S6 Gold is barely, really faint gold. If you have silver, I’m not sure why you would get the S6 gold. I got the S5 gold because it gives it a really different look. So I am staying with Series 5 in gold and returned the Series 6.

*Graphite vs Hermès Space Black:* I tried Series 6 Graphite in the Apple Store with graphite Milanese Loop. I wanted to hate it, because I thought in certain light it looks like silver (so again, what’s the point of getting one if you already have silver, I’d concluded). Premature conclusion: I dead set on pulling the trigger on S6 Hermes Space Black, but I LOVE IT. The graphite is stunning. The graphite Milanese Loop is even more stunning. It shimmers in a way the space black Milanese doesn’t. Having seen the graphite pics above with the Peacock Leather Loop I think I’m 99% sold. As for the 1% doubt... owning both S6 graphite and S6 Space Black would be crazy right???

*Braided Solo Loop:* I was dead set on not collecting the Solo loops (I’m a size 6 and the Sport solo is a little too tight and the 7 way too loose). Nevertheless I decided to pull trigger on an Inverness. I opened it in the Apple Store. It was like opening a lottery ticket. I scrambled to put it on my watch. Would there be a gap? Why yes, yes there is a gap. In fact, there are gaps on both sides. The left side has, however, throughout the course of the day “inflated” to become more flush. So who knows. It is fabric after all. Comfort wise on a stainless silver it feels top heavy. You can feel the watch is there. Haven’t worn it with Aluminum yet and that might make the difference. With a stainless I still prefer Sport Loops for comfort and all day wear.

I decided I hated the Graphite SS before I saw it too. I completely changed my mind when I saw it in person (and now I own one...!)

Does anyone have a 2017 Chinese New Year Woven Nylon band and recommend it? I have a product red series 6 and think it’d look really nice with it. Looking to order from chargerstore on eBay.
get it get it get it. It’s the most unique nylon band. It truly glitters in the sun.

It looks like a really nice band. And a good price too. You have convinced me 😂

I love the support here! I’m really happy with it and you’re absolutely right. Next on my discontinued wishlist is Nike Midnight Fog Loop. Patience, one day...

You call it support. I call it support too, but some would call it enabling.

That last section is really useful - as soon as you said the SS feels heavy on the Solo Braid it made sense. That is another nail in a coffin that was already pretty well nailed for me on that style.

You could definitely have an S6 in Graphite and SBSS. I bought two S5s, one SS and the other SBSS. My plan was to sell the one I liked better and replace it with a Hermes S6 in that finish, but Apple still doesn’t think I should be allowed to buy a Hermes in NZ and it just isn’t worth the hassle to import it from Aus with the travel restrictions not allowing me to go and pick it up. I’d have gone Hermes SS all the way if I could as personally I think SS dresses up better (says me sitting here with my SBSS and a black pin Hermes orange band on :))

I like graphite from the pics I’ve seen on here and it does look good with the Milanese, but I decided not to grab one that was available locally for collection on 22nd Sep after all. Having SS, Graphite and SBSS might be a bit too much.

Is this Flash Light Sport Loop actually rare or are people just selling it for too much on eBay? I’ve started looking to grow my band collection and found these listings on eBay. I got one unknowingly in 2017 lol

General (newbie) question: Do you buy all your watches (not bands) new, or is it a case by case decision?
I used to buy new for everything I bought from Apple. But, after Apple slapped ~20% price hikes on all their flagship devices in 2018, I have become MUCH more open to buying used. I bought my S5 used 4 months after launch in mint condition at 2/3 of retail and it came with AC+. If you don’t care about owning a new gen watch right on launch day and are patient, there are some really good deals to be had within a few months as people who impulse bought early on go to sell.

Stripe may be the most versatile face Apple has ever created. I love it.
And people complain about the "lack" of watch faces and advocate for a third party watch face store.

After seeing these "top" watch faces for the galaxy watches I'm like nah I'm good with the faces Apple gives us. I would rather be able to choose from a smaller amount of really good watch faces than have to wade through hundreds of crappy faces to only find 2 or 3 that I kind of like.

Thanks ! I'm looking for a SS as a second AW, for not too much, a shop here has a small batch of brand new SS series 4 44mm with the milanese band for around 2/3 of retail and I was wondering if it's a good deal or not.

I think this is the case for S3 or below. Personally I'm bored stiff with these "old" watch faces on S3 and this is one of the many reasons for me to now move on to a newer generation AW. A 3rd party watch face store could be nice for owners of older watches.

I could see that but after seeing the galaxy watch faces it just left a bad taste in my mouth lol.

What do you guys think - I’m torn between surf blue and Cyprus green. S6 Blue watch. Which would look best?

Have bolstered my collection with a few 2015 colours. I'm going to need a bigger set of drawers - I'm beginning to have to double-up! :)

Guys, this is by far the most exciting day in my life. Probably. Not even 48 new bands released on an evening can top today. Probably. Nah, maybe.

I am thrilled to announce "Bandbreite", the app for your ever-growing band collection, is now available on the App Store! 🥳

Back in October 2016 I started this thread. Time flies. 600 pages later the chart is now an app. This is amazing and also unbelievable!

I want to thank all of you guys. A lot of you have supported me in the past answering weird questions or help me to figure out the last detail of information missing on the chart. I really hope the app helps you to organize your collections and to enjoy your bands even more.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our first beta cycle too! We've heard you, and we have some great ideas for upcoming updates. If you still have any requests or feedback, DMs and email are open to everyone, so feel free to send them at any time.

Talk to you soon!

Excellent app. Instant download!

At last, my S6 Nike GPS+Cell has arrived, replacing my S3 GPS.
I couldn't make up my mind on which band to choose, so I got both (bands) 😊

(think on the thumbnails for the larger picture)

Needless to say, coming from a S3, this is a huge step ahead for me. I'm obviously very happy: bigger screen, great new features, plenty more watchfaces, etc.

Question to you all band aficionados: I find the Nike bands extremely hard to fit on the S6. Other bands do not cause any problems. Nike bands are also harder to fit on the S3, but not as hard as on the S6. It's like if the rail onto which the lug slides, is tighter than usual. Any thoughts?
