Hi guys,

I’m on a NIKE SERIES 3 SPACE GREY from 02/18 with BLACK NIKE LOOP.

I absolutely love that watch, it was my first and I’ve only taken it off for the weekly cleaning. Watch and band in pristine condition, very suprised about that.

I am thinking about a NIKE SERIES 6 and I definitely want a NIKE LOOP, I find them the best.

But which colour? I can’t go with black again, I find the white ones quite bright and they might be prone to dirt? I think I like the purple one, the obsidian one and maybe the summit one.... but I haven’t seen them in real life and I worry about about being “too offensive” on my wrist. The black combo was always a low key thing, never to present but I should really go for a change.


I am amazed about that strap thread and found so many pictures, maybe someone has a great Tipp or idea I haven’t thought about and make my decision easier.

Welcome. This isn’t a bad place to ask that question, but also there are many people here with 100+ bands, and I’d suggest maybe picking up one or two more over time. Also if your original black is still good then you already have that to keep using and switch up with something a bit more eye catching to see how you like that.

I bought my first Watch the day the S0 launched and I bought it with a black leather loop to dress it up and a black sport band to use when it might get wet. I have hardly worn either compared to coloured bands when I (very quickly) started to try those.

I can only assume that the Head of Band Design has a garden with some very specific cultivars growing in it. My lilac tree is much purpler (is that a real word?) and my Hibiscus is also purple, not pink!

I do have a red rose that's Rose Red though...

...and my Beryl and Cobalt plants are an exact match 😆😆

I didn’t even know Beryl was a plant - I wondered where the name came from! While I appreciate natural spaces I have never had much interest in the plant themselves, but I thought I at least knew most names if not what they look like. I guess not...

I seem to remember someone asking for a pic of the full Red lineup, so here we are. Left to right, 1 to 4.

Gen 4 is most similar to Gen 1 (left and right respectively), but maybe slightly ‘peachier’?

That was me. Thanks for the pics. Less difference with G4 than I expected. I guess it’s one to get to be complete rather than for any material difference.

Cream sport loop again...making the face made me realize maybe the elusive food packaging it reminds me of is some obscure euro/middle eastern wafer cookie, like those ones with the waffle look.

I echo what @jamieinoc said - Chargerstore has 3 piece Hermes sets and you can buy from him with confidence if you haven’t before.

Yeah, I’m at the point on the slope where I can still scramble back up I think, using a crutch of collecting the ceramic Watches. I really don’t want to get to the point of no return.

I also have Feu. Bambou is calling to me, and that orange Swift Attelage single tour that appeared in a pic over the weekend is also on my list now.

The gap for sure looks great on the 40mm double tour with the skinny leather but I need to see it on 44mm, as well as the 44mm double tour. Luckily I am also too big for the 44mm double tour by like 3mm

The bambou is definitely out of stock at the Hermès online store, so are a few others.

Get the bambou while you can! It’s the best colour this season in my opinion.

I don’t see the appeal in having one sealed. I wouldn’t buy it without plans to wear it.. no reason to keep a sealed one.

I considered some of @iChernov’s spares, but I could never leave them sealed, thus wiping out half of the value!

God, what have I done to myself.... I was settled on renewing a Nike SERIES 3 with a Nike SERIES 6 in space grey, just get inspiration for a different band in here, and now I’ve looked through all those beautiful pictures and links you guys provided and my mind is turning, unsure if I should go for silver....

I’ll just have a good nights sleep and will visit a store tomorrow to try them on...

“Dream watch” lol guess we all get a change of heart at times. The titanium looks great and I honestly don’t really see the need to upgrade from an S5 to S6 but that’s just my opinion.

Ah yeah.. It's a beauty but I've always lusted over the Natural Ti.. I came to the conclusion that the S5>>S6 update wasn't enough for me to drop $500 differential for when the MR seller had a Series 5 in such great shape. Happy with the move

My OG orange is seemingly so close to the current gen. Product (RED) SB that I’ll ‘need’ to get the braided solo loop or sport loop for my first Product (RED) strap 🤔.

It is so true. If you’re an orange fan, you better shell out for Hermès.

I’ll have to wait for the ‘One Orange to Rule Them All’ until I get a Hermès Watch (good excuse not to buy one this year is that the Space Black model doesn’t come with the orange band), as I’d rather not buy second hand. Also I think if I ever did have enough cash for that model, I’d want to go and buy it in person from a Hermès shop in a lovely European city
