Wasn’t me, not my band. Lovetodream posted it on Twitter.

My point being if it’s easy enough to tug on and ruin, it’s not worth the $100. At that price point I expect tighter weaves (You can’t pull out the woven nylon fibers that easily, though it also isn’t elastic. Apple could have found a middle ground.) and no gaps in the lugs.
Yep, definitely looks to be Olympics related. Already emailed our overseas band dealer to see if he has any info. If not... I’m flying to Tokyo next Olympics.
That would look awesome with my Red watch!

Ooof. 😲 This is exactly what I was afraid of happening when trying on the band in the store. I think I’m going to stay away from the solos for the time being:
There’s a video on YouTube someone posted here somewhere, of a guy picking up a 50lbs weight with a solo loop. So maybe this loop had a manufacturing defect (a tiny tear in the material would make it fail under tension). That photo wouldn’t make me worry about the solo loop durability just yet.

Guys, I have a problem... what to attach to all of my bands?!

I have a choice now:
- S5 Titan
- S5 Black Steel Hermes
- S6 Nike

I like watch faces of Nike and Hermes, I like warm metal shade of Titan, I like the price of each of them (sweet offers for each of them), but I cannot decide - which one to get/keep?!

Help? Please?.. 🥺

Personally, I'd go with the Hermès. After 4 years of nike watches, I'm even starting to bore of the Volt colour and have set my daily driver to red on the GMT and typograph faces. I don't think there's enough in the S6 to make a nike version better than the titanium/hermès S5s.

Why do you need to get rid of any? Seeing that you can afford the Titanium and the Hermes, you can probably afford to keep them all. Just rotate your watches everyday like with your bands.

I can keep Nike and one of the luxury ones, but more would be too much.
P.s. I still do have ceramic white S3 nearby, which I for sure would keep and thus didn't mention above ;)

I would have your "problem"... Keep Hermes and Nike in addition.

I took the chance on the Grey Ceramic from CeX... even before it arrives I know it’s not the right thing, as they put the Serial Number on the dispatch note...

It’s going to be a Silver Nike S3 apparently. Will be going straight back.
Funnily enough, this morning I was asked to review them, I think their words were “how did we do?” 🤦🏻‍♀️

Every review I've tried to leave them has been rejected 😆

I ordered another one... ANOTHER Silver Nike S3, but a cellular one this time. One more to go... I'm trying to see if they'll give me the serial number before I order it, but you know what it's like trying to communicate with them...

None- get rid of all 3 and put everything on the ceramic S3.

Which is just more of a reason to not grab these bands. They’re cheap and fragile.

Yes, you are correct.... but he lifts the weights while holding the ends of the band with the watch.
Notice how he holds the watch... he also holds the band, relieving stress from the connector, which is structurally the weakest point in the solo loop design.

So as far as his testing goes, it would have been very unlikely for him to reproduce a snap like the original Reddit post.

Fair point. Could it be possible the lug would be that much of a weak point though from normal use, given how strong the rest of the band is?

It won’t take long for more examples to emerge if that’s the case. So we’ll know soon enough!

Well it will be interesting to see if my review is accepted. I don’t normally leave reviews but in their case I decided to make an exception what with them being “a bit special” and all lol.

Wow that's quite a good deal if real! I bought mine from chargerstore for $50usd which I thought was reasonable considering it's the price of a new band, but this one was never released and I'm assuming fairly rare.

It's here, it's real, and the gold threads are as shiny as they say! I'm wearing it for the rest of the week then going back to my product red loop for the next one!

Coming to the opinion to keep S6 Nike and S5 Hermes... ufff... TWO watches... I hope it won't go too far

These bands are very comfortable, sweaty turds in my opinion.

Not surprised these are breaking

Sport bands for life!
