Guys, this is by far the most exciting day in my life. Probably. Not even 48 new bands released on an evening can top today. Probably. Nah, maybe.

I am thrilled to announce "Bandbreite", the app for your ever-growing band collection, is now available on the App Store! 🥳

Back in October 2016 I started this thread. Time flies. 600 pages later the chart is now an app. This is amazing and also unbelievable!

I want to thank all of you guys. A lot of you have supported me in the past answering weird questions or help me to figure out the last detail of information missing on the chart. I really hope the app helps you to organize your collections and to enjoy your bands even more.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our first beta cycle too! We've heard you, and we have some great ideas for upcoming updates. If you still have any requests or feedback, DMs and email are open to everyone, so feel free to send them at any time.

Talk to you soon!

Yeah, the ceramic almost looks like a silver Alu in that shot, but you're not fooling me. Before the LTE models became available here last year I rocked a silver Nike S5 with PP/Black and I did like it as a default combo.

Next time I'm buying a watch, I need to find someone who's about to buy themselves a Hermès band but no watch. I have no interest in the leather bands myself (climate, work environment) but I would love to own a Hermès sport band.

If you want one, Chargerstore on eBay has new ones that are legit. He even has some with S/M and M/L sections if you're a small wrist 44mm - and maybe a large wrist 40mm also, though I'm not sure on that one. Anyway, don't be put off by his being in China, most of the worst addicts on here have bought from him with zero complaints.

A 44mm Hermès orange band was sold for US$113 today with some minor stains. That had a S/M section and would’ve been perfect for my small wrist.
I have the Hermès Apple Watch but I never use the sport band because the M/L piece is too big for me.

The three-part bit has me questioning their legitimacy - I thought they only ever came with S/M for 40mm and M/L for 44mm?

Also, I've tried to find chargerstore to see if he has a Chinese storefront (I'm in China also) without success. Ironically I'm probably in the one place in the world that can't buy from him - and also probably in the same city...

LOL - that would be amusing. I don't know the story of the S/M section, but everybody I know who has bought from him has been happy with the bands being genuine and original.

I found his ebay store again. It's most definitely not set up to ship to China, the shipping costs are mad (usually in China, shipping is so cheap the seller automatically pays for it. I don't remember the last time I paid for shipping on anything, even stuff that cost like $2). Doesn't seem to have a taobao/jd store.

All the ones I've found here with hermès sport bands only have the S/M portion for 38/40mm and cost about $90. I wear the M/L usually... I think I'm in the inbetween area where I could get away with S/M but I don't know how secure it would be in comparison.

My new search for a Hermès band did lead me to a royal blue band, which I've been looking for for a while and unable to find... so there's one positive. Also a $15 green sport band that I'm considering buying instead of trying to get my old one back from my mum (who is back home and gave up on Apple Watch)

I just downloaded the app and it’s freaking sweet!!! Can’t wait to add all my bands to the app. Super stoked.

Finally got to delete my note that I had made of all the bands I want to collect.

Here’s my initial stats. LOL will be interesting to see what my preferred color and band will be once I put them all in but I mean I already have an idea

https://www.ebay.com.au/usr/1to3shop-store?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 Is this seller legit? Selling brand new sport loops, bands, leather loops, modern buckles for really good prices. Might get a cerulean or celestial teal sport loop.

Edit: Nevermind I just realised shipping is $30aud to Australia 😂

Yes, a number of us um ordered a lot when that seller first came on the scene with $22 bands & loops.

I recommend Cerulean.

Also, see the Discounts/Sales thread for other deals :)

The good side about my daily visits to this topic: I'm learning a lot.
The bad side about my daily visits to this topic: my credit card is experiencing unusually frequent activity. About 10 bands from different sources coming in within the next few days/weeks. o_O

And I think I just yoinked for the first time. 😇

Reminder/warning for everyone wanting to buy a new Watch or have bought one in the last 13 days to make sure you really like the band that you get with your Watch. While yes, Apple has relaxed the rules so that you may swap the band without returning the entire Watch within 14 days, it’s important to note as I’ve seen on my new receipt that when you do swap, the 14 day period does NOT reset. It will still be the same as when you bought the Watch itself. It’s also important if you have AppleCare+, because if you damage something, your replacement band will be the one you bought with your Watch.

I today swapped in my Pride Edition Sport band I got with my Watch because I felt it just didn’t really look that great with the Graphite and instead upgraded to the Atlantic Blue Braided Loop, I very much prefer how it looks 🙂

Pardon me for suddenly changing the topic, but after a few days of using the app I realized that the app will be a lot more wonderful if it could track doubles, track 40/44mm variants, and track pin colors. The last one I realized when using the app as a resource for eBay or second hand band postings where the bands offered are given a certain name but have a different colored pin, since not all bands have pin variants. I had to download the chart to refer, but it will be great if the app has the information as well. Oh and maybe have the cny woven band included as well? I don’t know a single bit about app development, so if the proposed changes require a lot of work, please just ignore me. I will be most willing to pay if such said features are affordable IAPs, so long they are not subscriptions.

Pretty sure all of those are planned for future updates. @choreographics and his team are hard at work on the app, and perfection takes time... especially when it’s all done as a side hobby!

So I gave in and ordered cactus (surprise surprise) and it arrived today. I like it a lot. Here is a comparison with turquoise and pine green if anyone is interested (cactus on the wrist). I like its chameleon nature - is it blue? Is it green?
