Amazing how you got it so cheap! Now you just need the S6 with bambou leather to go with it 😍
I know. I’ve done OK here when Hermes does come up, but it’s very rare. I got a Noir Rallye with an orange Sport Band and a free Blue Stripe Nylon Buckle for I think NZ$450, and a few weeks back I bought an S2 Hermes Watch with a Fauve Bernia, Feu Epsom, black Apple Classic Buckle, Midnight Blue Classic Buckle and three Sport Loops for NZ850. I sold the Watch and the Sport Band for $390 and a couple of branded third party straps that were also thrown in (a UAG and a Catalyst rugged thing) for another $40, so the keepers cost me about $420 that time.

I‘m flip flopping on the S6 and Bambou in all honestly. I get to the point of ordering and then I think “do I really want to do this?” and sleep on it again.

Hi! I have a very, very novice question for you all.
I bought a leather loop on sale from Amazon, as a gift to my dad. It's supposed to arrive today. I've never seen a leather loop in real life, watching pics on youtube I'm confused about how it's supposed to go on the AW. Does the shorter half go on the top of the watch, like the Sport Bands? But then the loop would be on the top side of the watch, while for the sport loops or the Milanese loop it goes on the bottom. I'm confused o_O Which is the correct way for the leather loop?

Also the band is the Peacock Leather Loop, if someone has a real life picture to share :)

did you check if your local Apple Store still has it in stock? Yes it’s gone from the website but it usually takes the Apple stores themselves some time to actually get rid of them where they can still be purchased if you ask A specialist and a runner grabs it from out the back if it’s still in their system... that’s how I almost bought the Surf Blue Sport Loop the other day and when checking Leather Link stock, he said the Meyer Lemon Loop was still there
I followed your advice and popped into my local Apple store and they actually do still have the Meyer lemon leather loop out the back. So now I’m the happy owner of a brand new Meyer lemon!

You can go either way. It’s really a series of unanswerable philosophical questions. Which side looks better to the wearer and do they want that side for themselves or to show it to others. On the sport loops Apple recommends doing it “backwards” when’s swimming which corresponds to putting the short end on the top of the Apple Watch and having the tongue pass through above the top edge of the watch.

Peacock is a stunner. Your dad has a good son! It can look a lot like cape cod or forest green in some light. Here it is next to the mallard duck Hermes band.

I have the colvert Hermès too! Such a pretty bluish green.
Now I want a peacock too! Maybe I need to go and ask my Apple store to check out the back again.

Ever since the Bandbreite app came out, I’ve bought four new bands out of my wishlist. It definitely makes you want them more when you can see them laid out in front of you🤣

Kept Hermes and Titan as a result. Nike went to my goooood friend with a goooood discount

Love the warm sense of community you often find here!

So does anyone care to update us on their current state of band storage/display? I just popped my preexisting cases onto a shelving unit, myself. The tox approach is beautiful, but would draw too much attention from my wife

With this year having an unprecedented number of new Watch colours and bands, I again headed into the Apple Store to take a look at other stuff, among other stuff hoping to see the new iPad Air but anyways.

What really stood out to me was not the blue or red aluminium but rather Space Black Titanium.

From what I’ve seen in some pics online it does look somewhat close to aluminium SG but this isn’t the case in real life. It’s actually distinguishable enough and with the right bands, you can make yourself a really sleek looking Watch. The “brushed” finish is quite evident, it’s less prone to fingerprints and it certainly has a unique look. And I really love how light it feels on the wrist compared to SS. Ceramic I’ve never tried in person and probably won’t for a while until it comes back!

Anyways here it is with the Saddle Brown Leather Loop and Atlantic Blue Braided Loop

This is the approach I want to go for... putting them in some sort of display case. I don’t really know how to go about it though, it’s pretty versatile.

They are still selling Surf Blue on the Apple Web site. Just click on any sports band and then it comes up as a color option, along with Grapefruit and Cactus.
