i was able to find one for pick up at best buy i cant wait to see how it looks im hoping for a peach/coral look
Yes, I saw the offer on Best Buy, but they don't ship to Europe, so my only chance was eBay
I have the apricot band which has a nice coral tint.
Graphite watch with silver lugs is not as distracting as with the SBSS watch. Waiting for my Plum bands, they didn’t arrive Friday hopefully my 12 Pro Max and the bands will all arrive tomorrow. The DHL depot is about an hour’s drive from me, was tempted to drive there on Friday, when tracking showed them being there in the afternoon...

Falling behind this weekend! Yesterday’s band — the white stripe woven nylon is for sure not a fave. But I like it better with the ceramic.
The Surf Blue Sport Loop is fast becoming one of my favourite watch bands, it’s just so wholesome!
Very happy I decided to take the plunge and buy one in store recently before they sent all the remaining S5 bands back to the warehouse

They’re offered to employees at a discount in their internal store. If they have any left after that, they’re probably just tossed or “recycled,” whatever Apple makes of that.Have we figured out yet what they do with all the leftovers?
So, new SBs arrived today - waiting the weekend makes it feel way late to the party after everyone else got theirs on Friday.
I need to see Northern Blue in proper daylight, but I’m liking it OK. It’s hung with Cornflower and Azure - sort of a dirty Cornflower I guess.
Plum is definitely the pick of the bunch. Kumquat is the ‘meh’ for me / us. I’ll try to take Plum for a spin tomorrow if I can find a shirt that matches in the ironed ones. My wife already has her Plum top picked out for work tomorrow.

I didn’t ask specifically about the bands - I however did ask a specialist number of weeks ago, “so what happens to all those Series 5 Ceramic Watches in store that weren’t sold”, and he said he wasn’t 100% sure but believed they went back to Apple to be used as future warranty/AppleCare+ replacements, which I guess very much makes sense considering the Ceramic is discontinued now.
My Surf Blue catch was even luckier to be honest considering how in my country the new Sport Loops, along with Sport Bands, got a price cut with the release of Series 6, the price cut applied retrospectively to the Surf Blue too. I had my eye on the Sunshine Sport Loop too as those mellow turquoise shades really look great, but alas ... too late now!
I'd like to imagine something along the lines of this, and that the brave ones among us will track it down one day and pull off the greatest band heist in history (a bar which is not too high, I expect).
Yesterday’s band — 2017 Product Red. I bought this band on vacation in Hawaii, so it brings back fond memories. And a craving for pancakes with coconut syrup.
