Haha, that’s awesome. How close do they match?

Your “regular” shot looks great. Every picture I see of this band makes me wish it came to life!
Ridiculously close. Almost like Nike secretly made a pair of scissors 🤣

Yep, agreed. It’s a really nice colour combo!

Hey guys,
up to the Series 4 at least, when you bought the rosegold aluminum version with the pink sand sport band, you got one with a golden pin - this band was not available as aftermarket accessoire.

Do you know if you still get a band with a golden pin when buying the Series 6 in rosegold with the sport band?
According to the images on Apple's site, you don't - which would be a real pity in my opinion...

My Solo Loops came in as well.

Kumquat is indeed the purest orange we got, quite close to Papaya, but more yellow and without that slight reddish hue. A keeper as well and Papaya will probably have to go, being so similar but slightly worse.
yeah I was just thinking, the Kumquat looks vastly more vibrant than the other recent orange Sport Bands they’ve pulled out? I haven’t got any orange bands just yet, but it looks great, maybe Kumquat will be my first Orange band!

Yep, I believe no, you don’t get a special golden pin with it. What’s different with Series 4 was back then you didn’t have Apple Watch Studio a la make it yourself. With the previous system where Apple picked combinations for you, then they could ship the band with the matching pin from the factory to match the watch. But nowadays how it works at the store is, they just bundle a band off the shelf with the loose watch itself, meaning you get the stock one off the shelf with the SS pin.

The sole exception are the Apple Watch Edition models (and Hermes) of Natural Titanium, SB Titanium and formerly Ceramic, where these models include besides your chosen band, an additional Sport Band in the Watch box with a pin that matches the respective material. However as such, those bands are exclusive to whatever Watch they’re tied to and are NOT available to the general public to purchase separately. I hope that all makes a bit more sense :)

I do note that the black Sport Band has a graphite pin however.

You can buy them on eBay, Poshmark, etc they are plentiful

Go for it! It really is the best orange so far IMO. Papaya is close, but a little reddish, and Vitamin C is over the top, more of a neon colour. Kumquat is vibrant, but not garishly so.

Crappy weather with no sun today, but I got my new 12 Pro yesterday and can finally take nice photos! Wearing the Smokey Mauve I got last week for $10! 😲

Quick question for all, who are using the Bandbreite app. Does the "Winter/2020" curated collections appeared on your homescreen? First position on the list at the bottom.
Yes it does appear.

you should eventually add the feature of letting people upload or share theirs real pictures, as a sort of reviews, tagging the color they have, so people can have more ideas of how it really looks.

Excellent idea, although that would possibly become a bloated database/storage nightmare 🤔

Go for it. Clem is new to my collection and a fast fave. I tinted/cooled it to be as realistic as possible. Last band shot with my 11! If memory serves its Nectarine that’s too close to Pink.

Is it me or do I see here two shades of pink, whereas Clementine should be on the reddish-orange side?

Other question, is Clementine a rare band? I'd love to get one...

Clementine on the left, Pink on the right. Figured I’d add on top of tousandbands here since lighting changes the comparisons drastically.

Yes, Clementine is rare. Sort of.
Just as rare as most other discontinued bands, at least.

Where’s the gold version from?
It’s from the dumpster behind the factory they make them in. It’s an unreleased prototype, presumably from a bored factory worker throwing gold hardware into the Hermès band machine, or possibly a scrapped line of gold Hermès watches. There’s also a version with a black pin floating around.

You can’t buy them, though. The guy selling them to us ran out, right before I got one too. I wanted a black pin version, but there were no more...
