haha dang that’s restraint
They were expensive and I’m just kinda weird about all my nylons that have light areas. I just love seeing them ramrod straight and mint...I hate when they look all wavy haha

Plus just so overwhelmed with all the new styles. I guess I’ll wear the green sooner rather than later as it doesn’t really fit those parameters.

I didn’t ask specifically about the bands - I however did ask a specialist number of weeks ago, “so what happens to all those Series 5 Ceramic Watches in store that weren’t sold”, and he said he wasn’t 100% sure but believed they went back to Apple to be used as future warranty/AppleCare+ replacements, which I guess very much makes sense considering the Ceramic is discontinued now.

My Surf Blue catch was even luckier to be honest considering how in my country the new Sport Loops, along with Sport Bands, got a price cut with the release of Series 6, the price cut applied retrospectively to the Surf Blue too. I had my eye on the Sunshine Sport Loop too as those mellow turquoise shades really look great, but alas ... too late now!

Wow okay then, talking about desiring the Sunshine Sport Loop on this forum a couple of days ago and thinking I was too late, i decided to ask a Specialist monitoring queues outside the store just to check stock again for “older watch bands” just to be sure, I was sure by now I was too late, but nope, they still had stock! He said for sure old stock is going soon as they’re all sitting in a big box out the back and sure it enough, Sunshine Sport Loop showed up on the device with a yellow caution sign meaning stock was down to 3 or less. Needless to say, I joined the queue and walked out with with this new band.

I have to say, this one is also gorgeous to look at - the top half reminds me of lemonade while the bottom half thats turquoise and yellow reminds me of Easter. Pics are all night time indoors, I’ll take some more in sunlight! Sunshine Sport Loop is definitely a keeper and happy I made the effort to ask again.

@EmmaLouWho @athousandbands you guys are both lucky!

that green woven nylon is soooo amazing

I can't get that out of my mind :)

how often are you guys gonna use that with your watch?

@EmmaLouWho what watch color / series are you pairing it with

--

for some reason I feel like Anthrocite took its place for retail , but man that is such a good color. I'm sad woven nylon is done all together, its a high quality band and comfortable
I have a SA series 4 but will probably never wear the band. Just checked and the band is out for delivery today.

I really want a 2nd gen leather buckle saddle brown all of a sudden

it looks amazing and perfect in its simplicity, without fancy stitching, to me

Filleting the outside is called, if I recall correctly from when I went down the rabbit hole of discovering how the classic buckle generations iterated faster than the watch itself, mmm now I’m hungry.

i feel Apple needs to release counter parts for a lot of bands like a aubergine sport band, hot pink sport band, peach sport loop etc
They seem to be doing a good job of releasing every accent of a two-tone or three-tone sport loop as its own band (I think northern blue was previewed on Deep Navy SpLo?) with the glaring exception of Neon Pink’s gorgeous toffee elements😤

I just received plum. It is purple, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, it is dark enough to be subtle yet vibrant enough not to be mistaken with black (as I’ve read about Cyprus).
The only downside I find is that fingerprints stick around too easily as in a Stainless Steel case. It looks dirty out of the box.

Piano Dust, Tempe Chalk x2, Lavender Cliff/Black, Solar Crumble x2, Site Remains/Black, Totally Not Brown, Geyser Gray, Remote Flower, Chalcolith Milanese Loop, Shelter Rust, Boomtown, Sunrise Monument x4, Red Origin, Mudslide x6, Dark Geyser Gray, Pesticide Bean, Dark Remains, New Fossil x3, Cosmic Bosque/Dark Cosmic Bosque x2, Peace Tree x2, Conflict Factor/Black x2, Gloaming Black, Lunar Emerald x2, Terminal Avocado x2, Great Expectorations/Black x2
... this is why the App. requires a nickname field for every band!

Picked up the plum sport band the other day. I swear they changed the feel of it again. It’s now quite smooth feeling instead of the slightly rubber feeling before. And I think it’s back to the original thickness. Remember we had a few runs of sport bands that felt a bit thin?
