Just received Plum today. Also, I've read on forums some people comparing Plum and Ultra Violet. I don't see any resemblance much between them, so I have attached another picture with both together for you to be the judge.

I know mint isn’t a crowd favorite but i’ve been wanting this band ever since it came out and now i finally have it!
Plum sport band in 40mm is now back in stock at Apple with delivery Jan 11 - Jan 18.
Plum solo loop!LOVE this color! Just in case the 40mm sport band doesn’t come back in stock and also to see what the solo loops are like after wearing them more than 5 mins. So far this is really comfy!

Ahhhhhhh ok fine, I’ll cave! I swore I was a sport loop only person from here on. But Plum is just such a nice color and I’m not a fan of the orange accents on the loop version! Ordered the sport band and it will be here Friday.

Haha yeah I have been lusting after Plum since the iPhone 12 case and the sport band version came out. One of the few colors recently that has really excited me! I just hope I wear it since I generally prefer the sport loops for comfort when not wearing a dressier band for work.
I heard solo bands are really comfortable. I just don't want to try one and end up liking it because my wallet would cry 😂

Looks great! You're right, there's not much resemblance between the two, but it's the fact that they're both on opposite edges of purple.
UV is purple with too much blue.
Plum is purple with too much red.
Not exactly a crowd favorite, but a pretty hard one to find! I've only ever seen 2, and I bought the NIB one. Don't know what happened to the box, though.
What I like about the sport loops is the breathability. Sport bands are plenty comfortable and I have heard that the solo loops are even more so (though I think the the jury is still out on long-term durability). But, they don’t let my wrist breathe like the sport loops do (and they pool sweat in the hot summer months). The Nike sport bands help with that problem a bit, but the loops are still king in the breathability as far as I am concerned.

Curious to see when people get them. My Plum Solo was quoted Dec 17-24 and it came Dec 10. They might be back to underpromise-overdeliver normalcy.
I agree, we don't know the long-term durability of the elasticity on the solo loops for now. Btw, you're making me want to buy a sport loop to try one. Heard only good things about them.
I actually had a weird experience to get the Plum. I ordered one on December 3rd and was quoted delivery on Dec 29. 3 days ago I open the Apple app, and I see that if I buy one right now, it would deliver Dec 16 (today), which was weird since my order from Dec 3 was still processing and was going to come on Dec 29. Needless to say I canceled that Plum order from Dec 3 that was still processing, and I bought one again 3 days ago which ended up being delivered today.
Got it! I finally found (and bought) the Dark Gray Sport Band from the Apple Watch Edition Titanium in new and unused condition for a reasonable price. Really happy about, sometimes it's worth it to be a little bit patient.

Yeah I was skeptical about the sport loops for a long time, mainly because I didn’t like the asymmetry of the folded over portion. But, eventually decided to give one a try and can definitely say they are the most comfortable band I have worn. Light, breathable, and the folded portion is more noticeable in pictures than in real life (it also flattens out after a week or so of wear). I do have a braided solo on the way (found one on eBay for a good price) and will be interested to see how it compares to the sport loop for comfort and breathability.
I remember when the Titanium came out last year that people were saying the Dark Gray band was identical to the 2017 Gray. But, it looks like the 2017 Gray has a bit more brown in it from your picture compared to the Dark Gray. Is that how they are in person?
Yes, there's absolutely a little difference in color between both bands. Dark Gray is most/more grayish than any other band I know. Here's a daylight photo.

Today’s band - Toasted Coffee / Caramel woven — an all-time great product name from Apple. An understated band. Sometimes I really like it. Sometimes I feel much more ambivalent about it.
Today I’m leaning more in the latter direction. Maybe it’s that it’s not “great” with the Titanium? Should have tried it with Ceramic or Space Black.

I really think both of the Titanium-exclusive Sport Bands really compliment their respective Watch very well, definitely feel like they’re custom made for the Watch, its great to match it up with the matching colour of the California Watch Face - I wouldn’t ever sell off my Light Gray Sport Band!
I actually paid just a little less than that when I bought it too. I saw one in new condition and couldn't help myself. I rarely see these in USED condition, much less new. But yes, it's listed if anyone is looking and I'm always amenable to chat privately too.

I've tried giving this band away in my sales and people flat out don't want it.. I don't know why I hate this band. lol
