Ah gotcha! Thought you were looking for the same shade or similar. Plum is an amazing color (as many others on here can attest). But, it’s currently sold out at Apple and nobody knows right now if it will be restocked. Cyprus Green might be another nice shade. Seems to be almost the green equivalent of Midnight Blue (though, I don’t own the band personally).
That looks so good that I couldn’t resist any longer and just bought a Plum case!
It’ll look so nice with my Plum watch band. And to keep this post on topic, my band of the day is Cactus:
Didn’t realize that about Plum! Just checked all of my local Apple stores and they are in fact all sold out.
Cyprus Green is nice, but it’s not really my kind of band.
I would love to find a Sport band in a shade similar to Bleu Paon. I didn’t come across anything super close in this thread, though. Most are either too vibrant or too muted.
Ironically, I’m also cactus today haha.That looks so good that I couldn’t resist any longer and just bought a Plum case!

my wife told me she likes it, but unfortunately the Best Buy deal is long gone to get her a 40mm cactus.
Can anyone please post a comparison between cactus and northern blue?

As two people just posted, Cactus is probably the closest Apple has gotten to that sort of marine turquoise seafoam-y color. Hopefully something similar comes out this year though!
Yep, there definitely has never been a sport band in that peacock color. Dark Teal is probably the closest to that color but is obviously a more subdued version. Here are a few others that are in the neighborhood at least.
I know you said you didn’t want leather again. But the Peacock leather loop would also be a good match.
With all the Cactus and Surf Blue bands Apple sent out to solo loop customers who got the wrong size, Cactus has been popping up frequently on eBay/Mercari/etc. in new condition. Might not be able to get it at $30 but $35-$40 should be doable if you keep an eye out.

When I got my S6 w/ solo loop pre-order, my rep gave me the option to choose any band I wanted, and at the time I didn't have any Nike sport bands, so I decided to get one of those.
I feel like Apple has danced all around the "popular" colors with bands and cases, but has almost never hit them square. Very few purples or bright pinks, and when they did (ie. UltraViolet and Dragon Fruit), those colors sold out quick and are now super hard to find. Even most of their seemingly thousands of blue shades are mostly muted and dull. I've always wanted them to do more bright or jewel toned pinks, purples, blues, turquoises, etc with the bands and cases, but they just never really do.
I think it's their way of futureproofing the accessories? Dancing around the popular colors as you put it always gives them those colors if they can't find any other colors they like.
Did that make sense?
yoinked this NIB Surf Blue for like $16 on eBay. I gotta agree it’s a stunner, sits perfectly in between G1 & Royal.

I'm not an expert, but I'd say Nectarine.
I had a similar experience with Amazon Warehouse (but it was a one-time occasion after many Amazon Warehouse orders); I ordered a 3rd gen Product Red Sport Loop, but the band inside was a 2nd gen Product Red Sport Loop. I have a feeling people are doing this to get a free upgrade for similarly colored bands, which is unfortunate. I ended up returning it obviously.
I'm a sucker for blue. Surf Blue is by far one of my favorites! Great choice!
Isn’t Nectarine a lot like Pink? Looks like Clementine to me, which is a score in its own right. Hard to say though.
Edit: maybe spicy orange, less exciting to me but even more rare. If you take them out in the bright sunlight and snap a pic, it would be easier

Good choice - I had Midnight Green last year and was so bored of it it went some way to pushing me to upgrade in a year I was originally not going to bother (Magsafe also helped tip me over, more-so than the 5G and camera specs) I went Graphite this time also as I don't want to be sitting with a blue phone next year that I'm bored of.
I have both SS and SBSS Watches and while some Sport Bands look awesome with the Space Black in comparison with silver SS, I don't think any of them don't work with silver at all - whereas some don't look good with black. A lot of the Nike Sport Bands work better with a black case - pretty much all of the "Dalmatian" style with black holes, and the black with colour styles also - but personally I don't think the Nike SB style goes at all with a Hermes face so no problem for your scenario there.
On that basis you could go with any colour regular SB. If you're going to wear only one band all the time then I'd be thinking more about what goes with most clothing - and Midnight Blue probably works well there, so was a good choice. How about one of the darker greys - Gray or the SB Titanium Edition band?
Or join us on the dark side and start a collection...
I like a blue also (though maybe we have enough even for me, Apple), but I just don't wear Surf ever.
I have a Surf Blue iPad case so maybe I get my fill of it from that, and I certainly don't seem to have anything I wear that goes better with Surf than one of the other blues, but I don't find myself sad I can't wear it like I do with some of the other colours I don't have a clothing match for (looking at you Northern Blue, Canary Yellow and Pacific Green to name three).
Saddle Leather Link’s dullness works way better on the Gold SS, giving me Han Solo/Chewy-got-his-medal vibes
Was fishing around for a sweater this morning and realized I have one that is a perfect match for Plum 😂
Also got a couple of sport bands in today (Plum got me back into sport bands and my wallet is quietly sobbing over in the corner). Up first is Blue Cobalt. Nice color but a bit of a weird cross between a pure blue and a teal. Also probably more saturated than I would wear. I have an Ocean and an Alaskan on the way and I am guessing I will like one of those better.
Also received a Pine Green today. Really, really nice shade of green (I am a sucker for dusty greens and blues)! I will likely be keeping this one!

Got another band in. Picked up a black/volt nike band for 18 bucks. Not in the best of shape, but the worst wear is in the large strap which I no longer use. I cannot find the matching color in in the Numerals Duo watch face, any suggestions?
Most of the Apple colors are maddeningly just one tick off the Nike. I use Flash Light for Volt.
The more I think about it, the more I keep coming back to Midnight Blue. It’s wildly available on eBay and it feels like the classiest sport band to me. Maybe I’m just boring!
