One side of my Nike Pride Sport Band is extremely hard to get in and out of the watch. I don't think it causes any harm, just frustration. :)
Thank you everyone for the replies. I had never had this issue with my normal sport bands. I am really enjoying the Nike Sport Bands.

So was I.

It’s a fun one. Cant wait to find out what “/something” turns out to be.
Summit White seems to be the white between Pure Platinum and White, but Beavertion also loves their minimalist vague neutrals with names like Tint or Ghost or Dust with no adjective

Honestly just start making up your own Nike colors at this point... “Quantum Dust/Teal Gray” sounds pretty Beaverton.

What's the Sport Loop next to Olive Flak on the far right?

Khaki, a total banger once you give in to the tri-tone sport loops. Seafoam rails! Closest to Spruce Fog. (The camera pictured below is set up to monitor my dog, who spends, conservatively, 6-8 hours a day in the chair pictured. The garage is his safe space when crows/palm tree seeds/palm fronds start hitting the roof.)

Oh not seeing the navy part tricked me haha. It's beautiful! I love tri-tone bands, and I've been wanting to get it, but I couldn't find it below retail so far.

Sidenote: "Bandbreite", the app for your ever-growing watch band collection, has recently reached 10.000 downloads from the App Store around the globe. Thank you for getting us there! 🥳.

We're amazed by the great ratings (4,9) and fantastic user reviews so far. Thank you for the support and continuous feedback. There are a lot of additional and helpful features planned for the app, and we will announce details as soon an update is ready to ship. I am sure, we would not be there without the community here, what makes it even more special.

A special thanks (and a hug) goes to all the supporters, who bought us a coffee or left a tip to show appreciation using the virtual tip jar in the app. You're awesome!

This is what happens when you create something this beautiful 😉.

Yes- this happened to me with the new Surf Blue and Grapefruit bands I ordered.

I’m not certain on it damaging the watch if it’s the aluminum model (it’s possible the metal piece inside the band could slightly chip the edges of the hole it inserts into in the track). I would imagine it could never harm a stainless steel model, though.

That said, I’ve noticed that after some time using both bands and putting them in and out a number of times it seems as if they now go in and out of the track easier. They still seem much “beefier” than my black and white Sport Bands though.
I agree, it gets a little easier over time. The worst are the Nike bands actually.

I think over time putting on the overly thick band removes excess material and creates a “rail” in the band material so that it goes on easier in the long run.

My new purchases came!! Forked out way too much for shipping because the idiotic seller ran out of properly sized boxes and sent me these in a super big box. Urgh.

By the way, has anyone seen this situation before? The box was definitely sealed prior to my unboxing, but the tabs on the dual band side looked like they had been damaged by someone. I wonder if it is now common and possible to reseal band boxes like new

I imagine if you want to be deceptive you can carefully open the opposite end to the plastic seal we are supposed to pull off, and then you could re-stick it closed. You'd have to know you were going to reseal it when you opened it though, otherwise surely you'd just rip off the plastic strip.

Yes I thought that might be the case but the other end looks exactly brand new too. Usually if you try to break it even carefully there are tell tale signs. My papaya box definitely doesn’t. Also the same seller doesn’t charge more for boxed bands so he has no incentive to do it.

That's odd, but also good news I guess as it suggests that the bands you bought are legitimate

Yeah, I was wondering if there’s even a chance they come like that from Apple but I seriously doubt so.
A more possible explanation will be that they have access to the pull tab tape and replaced it cleanly after opening it the first time.

I've been looking for a 42mm Marine Green sport band with no success. Does this guy have any more?
Looks like he's put more up (no idea where he gets them from!):

Price has gone up though, probably because the others sold so quickly. £9 more than I paid.

this totally happened to me too, last week, this is my Spearmint Sport Band new and sealed as soon as I opened it:

As you can see the box has the same identical kind of damage. It's 100% legit, I purchaised it from a big reseller, phisically, no shipping involved. So I guess it's just a storage damage, maybe in a weak spot.

Yeah it’s worth it too, this just arrived and maybe my best combo, I love it.

Outside even better but it’s raining so that pic will have to wait.

screw it think it’s my new fave band.
But 100% photos don’t do the colour justice.
