That’s literally the only sport band color that’s actually purple/lavender other than ultra violet (despite all the plum lovers calling it purple it’s burgundy).
Another day without ceramic. It’s been sitting locally since Saturday, having a staycation. My peach band was due last week, *maybe* I’ll get it today? My prototype Nike band on a normal day should be showing up as well, along with another thing in expecting, from last week. But every time a holiday arises, Usps seems to lose it. Literally, I don’t send things near weekends anymore due to the amount of packages they’ve lost on holiday weekends. In my hands, I have no bands! Hopefully that changes soon.
Noticed I've been wearing the Leather Links on rotation for the last week. I really like the look and feel. I luckily managed to get these at least 30% off retail, which helps. Keeping an eye out for a cheap black one now. Yes, the photo has been fiddled with for effect.

UPS are giving my ceramic a lovely world tour with stopovers in Kentucky, Hawaii, Sydney and now Auckland. Yesterday lunchtime it went to a status showing it had arrived in NZ and would be delivered tomorrow, for all of 30 minutes, then “a mechanical failure has caused a delay”, which it’s still showing.
What a trip! At least we’re not alone in our misadventures. I don’t even have delivery dates for mine anymore since they are past due. I’m just hoping they pull it together and get it all out tomorrow, hump day.

Where did you get such a good deal? I would love to buy a Saddle Brown or Black version.
I got lucky on eBay. Saddle brown was from someone who bought the wrong size and was out of the return period and Cali Poppy was from the UK reseller mentioned a few pages ago - I put in a cheeky offer and took advantage of a voucher eBay sent me.
Baltic was from someone who seems to have sourced white-box non-retail demo/replacement bands. Probably best not to ask where from.
Fully agreed! I've been saying from the start it's burgundy (or bordeaux) but certainly not purple. 😇
I can't wait. "My SS" is here... ongoing battery charge and upgrade prior to setup. It's past bedtime here, so photos will have to wait for tomorrow and to try new bands on it!
I finally got fished my wish for a cheap Baltic on ebay last night, so it appears Apple and Amazon are finally fulfilling those orders and the secondary market should be steady soon. For sure black ones have been popping up for a minute now.
I feel like these will have even higher turnover than the Leather Loops just based on people needing to see what the style is like for the first time and not having the store demo available. Leather bands feel like the best candidates for people to realize they’re never using and sell off in good condition generally.
To me its the colour of the forest in the fall, the maples and the red oaks and the deep burgundy shrubs that line the trails. I love autumn. It's a great colour that makes me think of it every time I look at it.

I was told by another member it's Stone 2 and I'd have to agree. Antique White did cross my mind but it does seem a tad darker. Thank you for replying! I'm starting to go down the band rabbit hole - but I absolutely will not do what I do for so many other things I collect and get one of every color - don't have the money for that! The next mystery band I ordered earlier really does appear to be a gray, so I will post when it arrives to see which gray it is.
Antique White would be 38mm marking. The blessing and the curse of Apple ditching neutrals since series 4 is that it’s pretty easy to tease out Stone2/Light Gray/Dark Gray by their size marking.
Very timely - today is Plum day. And like everyone else, I love it.
Mine was a fingerprint magnet too at first, now I either don’t notice it or it’s gotten better! Enjoy.

Speaking of which.... my new Series 5 SS is now set up. It is so bright and shiny and just gorgeous.... I'm in love!

Today’s update in replace bands that worked with stainless steel but not ceramic and final for a while is lavender grey(yes grey in uk 😁) It looks more lavender in real life and so worth it and at £39 as new then why not.
