I wish they just did stripes like the Pride band. I don’t know why they did this cut and paste art project. But I’m still going to buy it, lol.
It looks like a piece of modern art to me, which I could go either way on. I think it’s interesting. Definitely going to yoink multiple maybe possibly. Are you grabbing the watch too?

I think the unique build to the band is neat. I probably won't get one since the colors all combined wouldn't really match any of my wardrobe.

But I'm all for having more bands like this

I’m not sure if I’m grabbing the watch too. I might grab one if I can snag it tax free from the store in Christiana Mall.

Just updated, the watchface doesn't look bad. It looks god with my Product Red G3. I'm curious to see it paired with its band, even if I'm not gonna buy it 'cause I wouldn't wear it.
Can't wait for your pictures!

Given that the Unity band has a somewhat abstract pattern, I wonder if they are designed to all be identical or if there's going to be any variation in the arrangement or position of the color shapes.

I’m thinking there will be a little variation, but not too much. Like, the exact location of color change will be different, but generally you won’t get a band that’s 70% green and 30% black.

Is it just the lighting or is that face available in colors other then Red/Green? I like that aqua/pinkish combo much better! (Yeah I get the meaning behind it being Red/Green, but that combination doesn't appeal to me aesthetically.)

Just the room lights. But it'd be nice to have more combo on this watchface, like the Minimal Duo, but I guess green+red+yellow on a black background are the whole point of the watchface, so it's alright.

The solo loops aren't selling that well in Asia from what I heard, and the amount of returns mean Apple will likely not sell them at third parties. They have to keep the sport band.
While I’m thinking it’s more and more likely Apple won’t mind the SKU bloat of sport bands and silicone loops (I think some people just want the super snug fit)...I could also see a world where they stop releasing new sport bands but keep around a group including Hermes/Titanium and/or default colors for pack-in.

I just hope the well hasn’t been poisoned by the sizing fiasco, because my word what a fail.

I think stripes would look too much like a flag (Malawi, Libya, South Sudan, Kenya etc.) whereas the smoosh is more akin to ’unity’.

But it’s based on the Pan-African Flag. I personally would like it to look like that flag. Like I said though, I’m still buying it.

Actually, they should re-design the flag to look like the strap. That would look way more funky and unique and they would be the first to use an Apple design completely free of charge.
