especially from these big wholesalers who sell them without bands or pucks or any of that nonsense.

We’ll find you a mint wholesale Ti S6 this time next year. I just got an s5 for 355. And it’s very lightweight.
I know I should search for myself, but I also know you find stuff on eBay that was under my nose yet I missed.

Got any recommends for where to get a mint Ti without the unnecessary packaging and pack ins for that kinda money? Going "Edition complete" has caught my imagination more than a little (if I pretend S0 Gold doesn't exist). I have room for a natural Ti on my pairing list.

I might even pick up SBTi, though I don't know until I see it if that would ever be used, and it would have to bump S3 gray ceramic to get a spot in the five (which is lower than I expected the limit to be). From photos I just have no desire for one, but as with almost everything Apple that looks dodgy in pics the IRL experience likely is much better - even the AirPods Max "bra case" makes a lot more sense when you have it in hand than when you see it on screen.

I just call them the New Editions. I’m not sure how much others will see the brushing but you will def appreciate on your wrist.

Yeah [sigh] I know, sadly as with everything Apple I've every touched after questioning I expect the SBTi is awesome IRL. Thanks for the link.

Sooo, I might just snag a 40mm SBTi for $309 - when it comes either I have it to open up the 40mm section of our collection to me or my wife has it so she has a black case Watch to supplement her SS Hermes. The latter meets resistance at initial suggestion, but I bet when it's in hand that changes...

Wearing multiple case sizes is the “going clear” of bandaholictology. Key tenet of dial-netics

Yeah; next level indeed!

I tried Mrs C's Hermes out for size. Aside the S/M band she uses being too tight even on the biggest setting it actually looked OK on my wrist. Not even horrifically smaller than the 44mm I'm used to and definitely not stupidly small in absolute terms.

I do think she'll end up with the SBTi when it arrives as she has only ever had Silver Al and now SS, so black will be a novelty for her, but maybe a natural Ti 40mm could work for me.

I believe I’m stuck at eight at this point. S0 SS, S0 SBSS, S1 Gold aluminium, S3 Ceramic Gray, S5 SS Gold, S5 SBTi, S5 Nike and S5 SG Nike. But I might get rid of both S0’s.

You know, some mornings when I stare at my 100+ bands and can‘t decide which one to wear, I feel like this „hobby“ has gone too far already. I guess I‘m just lucky in that I only really like silver Watches so that I‘m not in danger to go down that other rabbit hole as well.

(*Glances at the Hermès with Pomegranate combination on his wrist today and decides, yet again, that he, indeed, hasn‘t gone too far and this is just too much fun to stop.*)

Got my first new bands this week. Finally caved 3 weeks ago and bought my first AW (Nike Aluminum Series 6). I'm pretty deep in the apple ecosystem (iMac, had iPhones since the beginning, MacBooks for the kids, iPads, AppleTV, etc); but I was always more of a traditional watch person. Mainly bought the watch for health reasons to help push me harder on my runs and while I'm exercising. I even convinced my wife to get an AW.

Anyways, here's the photos:

42mm/44mm Classic Buckle Saddle Brown (3rd gen) on Series 6 Silver Aluminum
38mm/40mm Classic Buckle Saddle Brown (3rd gen) on Series 6 Gold Aluminum
38mm/40mm Classic Buckle Midnight Blue (4th gen) on Series 6 Gold Aluminum

My wife only wanted the Saddle Brown band for her watch. I really liked the contrast of the gold and blue and bought it for her anyway. :)

I have literally never looked at my 100+ bands and though I've gone too far. I have several times looked at them and thought "jeez; I still don't have a blue or green that goes with this shirt" :D

Awesome effort, but you're already on the trajectory after only three weeks...

I’ve been digging and searching online for some answers and sadly can’t find anything. Does anyone know what all of the letters and stamps the Hermès Bands mean? I know on other luxury goods, they are usually date codes or craftsman symbols...but I’m surprisingly not finding too much information about them after a few searches. Might reach out to Hermès since they are the ones making these bands. Any help is appreciated!

Probably just QA marks. What batch of leather they came from, which table/tool numbers were used, stuff like that.

Yep, as @mikedop and @JBlass421 confirmed. It's where I got mine.
I'm over the moon. It's a fantastic band !
My Grey band came. I love it but the first thing that struck me when I opened it is that it’s actually fairly close to Coastal Grey (excuse the bad lighting, it’s a grey day here too!). Not quite as Brown as Coastal but has the warmth that it has.

Edition Grey on the watch, Coastal Grey next to it.

I opened the last one on Friday before leaving for a skiing weekend - Spruce Fog/Vintage Lichen turned out to be a 40mm... and I was sure the ad had been for a 44mm :( so now I'm left with this brand new and beautiful band which I cannot use. I was so much looking forward to it as it exactly matches the color of my ski helmet 😂

Anyway, seller is not responding and since this was a non-ebay/non-paypal purchase I don't think I can argue for a refund
