Well, must be my lucky day. Getting a surf blue sport band for free. Initially ordered on eBay, decided to cancel and seller cancelled and processed the refund. Got a notification my order was shipped so I sent a message and this was the response I got back:

You will never go back to another AW after getting the Hermès edition. Speaking from experience. Lol.
Its a real shame they got rid of the woven nylon bands, I have one and really enjoy it. I only paid 15$ for it too! Alas.
that blue band with the black/blue dial is a phenomenal combo
Ah. I wouldn’t say it’s close. Much cooler and a lighter/frostier shade but if you don’t want to shell out $100+ I would say go for it.

Thank you and this is why Apple annoy me as in their photo on apple.uk it looks a lot more vibrant orange.
Apple will never release an orange close to Hermes (which is the best orange by far) because of their licensing agreement with Hermes. If you want that colour then you just have to bite the bullet.
That said, my wife has all the oranges Apple has made, and I am pretty happy with only OG Orange and Hermes. I bought Papaya a while back when I got the chance to pick it up after it was discontinued, but really I never wear it.
My recommendation is to buy Hermes and move on as it will make you happier than any of the Apple "not quite there" oranges.

Thanks for the reply and I will at some point I’m sure. I need to buy a new apple watch first as I still have the Apple Watch 2 and the battery is now quite poor on it.
