Hibiscus sport band

Just received my White (gen1), Black (SG Pin) and Anthracite sport bands, and my red (gen3) sport loop today.

As I pass the 60 band mark it seems to have become harder to find bands that I really want to buy, with most that I don’t have either too similar in colors to my current bands or at too high of a price.

Get a little further and the “too similar” thing stops being a thing lol.

But I speak with the immense privilege of finding random old bands grail and just niche that I wasn’t even hunting (lemon cream, delft) for under half retail in the robust American resale market.

I will probably have to get a lot further to stop minding the “too similar” thing! Even with 28 sport bands I only barely have one or two of each full color. Can’t imagine getting all the oranges or the yellows!

I wished more people around my area are into bands. Because nobody is the resale market here is full of people selling their default band for close to full price.

I just got my apricot yesterday and went orange/yellow complete. While it is objectively insane and apricot specifically is so close to nectarine and clementine, there is some satisfaction in just having the knowledge of every little corner of the goo (sport band/solo loop) universe, how each shade relates to the others. And now I only need to get around 12 of them a year to stay complete! Cheap!

Just a little complaining/venting here. I purchased a new sealed Midnight Blue sport loop band (gen 2) off eBay for $35 after arriving 9 days later then it should have (usps sucks) I opened the package to a not sealed box with no band inside. Honestly don't know if I think it was the seller or postal service (there was a rip in the envelope) but whoever it was you Freaking suck. Now I'm back on the search for another one.

Pretty sure those (black gen 1 with black pin) are cheap. Just bought one for slightly more than 10. In perfect condition and in the same shade of black as my Day 1 Stainless Steel Series 0 Black Sport Band (Silver Pin).

Yea I found one brand new in sealed box for $6.55 not sure if I’d call that a yoink being a black sport band but I’m definitely happy with it.

That sucks. You shouldn’t have too much trouble getting your money back though. eBay almost always sides with the buyer in a dispute.

Honestly, you really shouldn’t pay more than about $20 for a Midnight Blue. They are just so common. Here’s another listing for a new Gen 2 Midnight if you want a replacement:

I hope someone can help me out on this one. Pictured from left to right is:
- Black Sport Band 1st gen 42mm with stainless steel pin;
- Black Sport Band 1st gen 42mm with space grey stainless steel pin
- ???
- Black Sport Band 2nd gen 44mm with space grey stainless steel pin

(the fifth one to the far right is Gray)

The band marked “???” has the 42mm marking but is lighter than the two other 1st gen bands. It‘s colour seems to be much closer to the 2nd gen, but if it where 2nd gen it should have had the 44mm marking In my opinion. Any idea what this band “???” is?

Seller refunded my money within minutes of my email to him. Thanks for the link to the Midnight Blue band but I'm looking for the Sport Loop band in 38/40 mm. Really not finding many of them around. Thanks again 😊

Ahhh sorry! Yeah the G2 Midnight loop is much harder to find. $35 was a great price.

Second Gen. they still make Series 3 watches with 42mm marking on the bundled bands.
